I saw a reasonably priced sealed 1987 topps football box at the Flea market.... I decided Food and water were more important than Cunningham... I went grocery shopping instead 😂
The action shot of Danny White really stands out when you compare it to the awful picture selections of the cards that follow. Russell Erxleben’s card looks more like an accountant than an NFL player.
Awesome packs of cards Mr Wax Pack Dad and a great video too. I meant Lyle Alzado before he died. He didn't look like a football player. That I saw playing football games. Some awesome players in them packs. Have a good Tuesday to you and until your next video ✌️ Mr Wax Pack Dad.
@thewaxpackdad it's all right we had a good season. I believe there was too much tampering with the coaching staff. I think no team should be able to interview other teams staffs until after the superbowl but nobody cares what I think. LOL
What is your budget? I can tell you 1987 is a great set to start with. Still cheap and plenty of good hofers with value. 83 racks are about 35-45 a pop
New to the channel. Love the simple nostalgic content. Plus, notice the topps 3D cards on the wall behind you and had to laugh. I had those when they came out and had a love-hate relationship with them. They were somewhat cool but they didn’t fit in ANYTHING at the time to store them.
Thanks for watching - I did a rip on those a year or so again. Likes of dislikes lol. I think the wall is the best spot for them. BTW, the WWF also did those in 85 - I'd like the Hulk Hogan
Marcus Allen was better centered than I've seen or had,Singletary was off center, tough cuts on old Topps. Exciting seeing these players! Just picked up an 81T Kellen Winslow rookie out of bargain box."Just a little off-center"!
81 Winslow is a nice card, congrats from your bargin bin find! I pulled one in a wax pack with Art Monk rookie and Walter Payton..should have gone to vegas after that lol.
(1) Can't get much better than the cards you pulled from this grocery rack. Congratulations! (2) I think the '83 Topps football design is a little underrated. (3) Yoo-Hoo made a fudge bar?
That's true - though I think the concussion protocol in HS, College and the pros are much more thorough then the days of "getting your bell rung". I can't imagine how many concussions those players played through.
Nice work, too bad so many of the cards were cut horribly by the manufacturer.Talk about heartbreaking results people must of had finding a top card in the set and having a horrible cut and centering. But great finds !!!

It's a good value compared to others. You can get a couple of packs for $10-12. I'd love to open a box but your right It's hard to eat cardboard lol.
AMAZING! Love the Mike, Marcus, and Steve! Great work and congrats 👍💪👊
@@jajasvintagesportscards8669 thanks Jon!!! Sometimes the sun shines on a monkeys rear end
@ you’re a good man! 👍💪👊
Wow man, congrats! Was shocked when you got that Allen. Looked well centered to me 👍
Thanks amigo!
Enjoyed the rip! Pulled some big boys! Thanks for sharing 🔥👊🏻
Thank you so much!!!
Wow, great pulls. 👏
@@gameoncards thanks so much!!!!
Watching J.R. tearing turf and dragging guys was great to see.
4 yards and a cloud of dust. (42 in this case)

Sweet rip bro 👍 Have a good week!
Thanks man! You too!
The year I started collecting. Good stuff!
@@seekanddestroy7343 I feel like Van Halen or Rip Speedwagon should have been the theme music behind the rip! Thanks so much for watching
Fun rip! I love the ‘83 design! How cool that the three best cards pulled missed the edge damage?!? Great stuff, bud!
Thanks man, I was sweating those edges!!!
POWER PACKS! Awesome rip buddy!
3 cherries on the slot machine instead of the 3 lemons from last week!!!
Always thought this was one of the best designs the ever did.
I like 85 and 86 as they are very unique in their own ways. But if I keep pulling RCs I might change my mind!
Wooooooo.....Good Stuff !!! Thanks for the video, Have a Great Day.

There was an article in SI before he died talking about some of the stuff he was injected into himself. Really sad for a pretty good player.
now thats a WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO congrats RIP bob aka harry
Very nice. Congratulations
Thanks dude! Sorry about your lions. (I think that is your team, right?)

@@bigson1973 I agree 💯. No coach under contract should be allowed to join another team until the season ends
Nice!!!
Thanks so much amigo! Appreciated.
Well done 👍 🎉
Thanks Titus! Much appreciated!!!
Nice hits!!!!!
Appreciated amigo!!!!
Great rak congrats 👏
@@shanehulburt5661 thanks so much amigo!!!!
Legendary pack if not for a few condition issues. Awesome pulls regardless!
Thanks so much! I need to look at that Allen again - I think too much screen time is killing my eyes!
Greg Coleman and Vince Coleman ARE cousins in real life... the Allen rc looks in nice condition
@@erving3188 no wayyyyy. That's crazy, I just threw that out there as a joke
Cool Marcus Allen. Awesome cards.
Thanks buddy! Hope all is well down in SC and the cold snap is over
Awesome pulls. Congrats WPD!!! Fun watch.
Thanks so much! 1983 has been very good to me this year!!
Brings back memories......
Thanks so much!
The Marcus Allen looked the same on the bottom right.
I really want to start collecting these Topps football cards but I'm pretty sure the wife would strongly disagree!

Excellent rip WPD! Nice Allen & Singletary. I had to apologize to Greg Colemen one time for calling him Gary Coleman by mistake.
@@stuke1976 What you talkin' bout Willis?
4:27 was about to say Heartbreak Ridge also. Was one of my favorite movies growing up in the eighties!
Wishing that Singletary was better centered for you WPD great video
Me too! Still happy to add it to the PC though - thanks for watchng buddy
Nice rip…Allen and Singletary great pulls… FYI… It’s pronounced …Ba-Nershka.
@@DriveForShow thank you for that clarification. Would never have figured it out
i once served kellen his food through the drive thru window at jack in box after he played an early game one sunday oh so log ago...

Yoo Hoo - the drink of the Mick! Plus some mixers
I’d rather be a kicker. Much less chance of CTE and living a longer, more productive life after football. 🤷🏻♂️
