Jazak Allah! I had been looking for some guidance to stop procrastinating and be productive. I prayed to Allah today to show me some light. I stumbled upon your channel and found it immensely helpful. Your teachings have ignited a deep interest in me for Arabic literature and poetry. This kind of teaching was exactly what I had been looking for, and by the grace of Allah I have been blessed by it. Alhamdulillah.
Ma sha Allah, an excellent suggestion. Those of us with good eyesight often take written translation for granted. For those with visual difficulties, audio description is essential, a huge benefit.

May Allah bless you for such useful knowlegde. It is what I needed right now. Only thing I didn't understand was the last poem:"Had it not been for hardship, all men would have become great;Magnanimty causes poverty and bravery, death". I didn't understand the part starting at Magnanimty. Does it cause poverty and death and bravery? Or how do I understand it?
May this can help insha Allah: This text is suggesting that challenges and struggles are what make people develop greatness. Here's a breakdown of the meaning: "Had it not been for the hardship, all men would have become great": This implies that greatness comes from overcoming difficulties. Without hardship to push them, everyone would remain average. "Magnanimity causes poverty": Magnanimity refers to generosity and nobility. This part suggests that being overly generous or selfless can lead to material struggles. "Bravery, death": This is a bit more straightforward. It means that bravery often comes at a cost, and risking your life can lead to death. Overall, the text presents a somewhat cynical view of the world. It suggests that greatness, success, and even survival require sacrifice and struggle.
Asslamalaykum, brother isn't al mutanabbi the one who claimed prophet hood? Its a question, and if yes. Then shouldn't we prevent ourselves for praising such person or his poetry.

What does the last hadith (3:55) mean? That if the Prophet (S) was unable to perform that act that day, he would pray 12 raka'ats?

What demotivates me from gaining more knowledge is that I don't act upon it although I am trying my best but my progress is very slow

Walaykum salam. It is said that he claimed this. He was then imprisoned after which he repented. The ulema have praised his poetry but not his person.
BarakAllahu feek.
