- It's been 2 years since the last Time Remapping/Velocity tutorial so it is about time we update the video and remaster it. In this guide I will show you how to have flow, sync, and get a basic beginner's understanding and guide to how to sync and flow clips using Time Remapping. q: How do I get ZDepth or green screen clips?
a: You can only get them in older video games (no val, fortnite, pubg, cw, mw, etc)
q: How do I get high framerate clips?
a: Only older games by slowing the timescale down or using mvm_streams

Did you know you can use ALT + [ or ALT + ] to cut the ends off the clip? Very useful.
Just rebind it to x or something and you zoom through it x)

I love your tutorials man! I watched your last time remapping tutorial but I didn’t really understand it, but this time you went in a lot more depth, I understand now. My only issue is my laptop has low RAM rn so when I’m editing it’s laggy and can be hard to tell what’s happening until I render it

For anyone who can't add layer markers because you don't have a keypad, go to Edit > Keyboard Shortcut Settings, and bind 'Add Layer Marker' to a key of your choice.

Select Convert Audio To Keyframe in keyframe assistent and then pressing "U" makes it easier to see waveforms!!!!
essentially guys without overcomplication of how the graph works the flatter it is, the slower its gonna be. The steeper it is the faster its gonna get. think of it as gradient from math class if it helps
, lower the gradient the slower the line goes up.

Can anyone tell me why my clip is ghosting after render? its in the preview too. On Sony Vegas we disable resample and it fixes this, but AE apparently that isnt required?

Hey love your tutorials quick question if i want to edit a montage should i start in premiere with cutting and go to dynamic link it to after effect or should i start edit do all editing in ae?
you can do it all in after effects, even thou premiere clipping is faster. but learn the shortcuts in AE and its almost as fast

does making the raw footage slow motion make the velocity smoother and look good? cuz my velocity looks so bad with frame blending like really bad
Bro appreciate this tutorial. Especially when you let us know what keybinds to push to make it easier on our lives. I’ve always used Sony Vegas for my syncing ALL THE TIME but I need to move up to AE since I do my cinematics with it. So far my project looks fucking insane compared to what it would look like on SV.
How to fix the in-game sound it changes when I speedup or slow down . My audio of that clip also changes strangely how to fix that 🙏
Hey great tutorial. Just starting using AE. When I add time remap keyframes on the hitmarkers of my clip and make all keyframes Easy Ease. When I play the clip, on every keyframe the clip freezes for like a millisecond and then continues... It looks weird and throws off the flow. Any idea why that happens?

Yeah premiere pro is not worth anything imo. Vegas pro and ae can do everything premiere does but better. Premiere pro has its own place but it’s just not that good.

Literally every AE speed ramp tutorial on YT people are using the speed graph.
He's using the value graph.
