I come from Cork City in Ireland where Ford came from, as a matter of fact the Ford Fairlane, one of the most popular cars in America, was named after Fair Lane, which is still there today and is where Ford's grandparents came from. After listening to this talk, to say I am deeply ashamed would be an understatement, well done you all and keep fighting these Fascists Pigs.

I haven't yet read this book--I'm stuck at the middle of Professor Richardson's latest book. Reading through my own history is very difficult, but necessary.
Devastated that I missed this here in Houston. 😭
Also, maybe you should just provide a parenthetical suffix on your surname: Rachel Maddow (“maddoe”).

Oh man… this is so needed at this time. This is a cause we should all get behind. This is the right path.. you cannot go wrong by choosing life and love… and we cannot build anything without love. I don’t care what religion anyone is… but I do insist that we all keep our beliefs at home and stay open to all when we meet new people. This is the America I know and love… and I am not living in the USA… but there is a world out there that is 100% the best that America has for the world… but that does not include the attempts right now at guiding the country down a second exit from the mainstream into the darkest events of history. Some people lose faith and allow their fears to overcome them and turn them into Hitler saluting hate groups. This has to be resisted and Rachel is doing a very good job at defending the people of goodwill..

Why did MTG’s face keep popping up in my mind as she talked about conspiracy theories… wow. An excellent help for anyone struggling with what drives some of the biggest crazies we are faced with right now.

Our country needs us. Each and every one of us. To VOTE and help others get registered and to their polling place. Every vote does count.
We need a movie to help get out what has, is and can happen to our Democracy. To make people aware and motivate them to help protect Democracy.

it seems that ford motor also had a culture that was racist too. the wikipedia on ed sullivan says that he nearly got into a fist fight with one of his ford motor sponsors who was in the audience and giving him a hard time about promoting black performers.

Are you trying to say that the current right wing movement under Trump doesn’t have any traits we have all ready seen in history? Rachel has a point, and it would be a shame if you missed it.
@hiltonwatkins6750 I understand the point. I didn't miss it, I'm not a neofascist, I don't downplay it. What I don't understand is from 2015 till now is this constant beating it over our heads of trump is Hitler. Why? Why is this the case? Maddow has such TDS and completely totally ignores the way the left is violent, hateful, intolerant, and propgandizes everything. Maddow in no way, nor does the left acknowledge any other dictators except Hitler? Why?
