    Thank you so much for this video! My husband just got a BLU V5 and the SIM cards fit the same way - we couldn't get it to stay in until I saw this video that shows to push the little silver piece down to lock it in place - very important!!! Thanks again!

    Thank you very much for this little video! I've had my R1HD since I pre-ordered it from Amazon, and I haven't had to mess with the SIM card since then lol :) A couple of days ago, it glitched and got to where it wouldn't send texts with photos attached, and the tech support guy instructed me to remove the SIM then replace it. I couldn't figure out how to get the little metal holder thingy to stay closed and then you showed how it has to slide and click into place! I've really enjoyed this phone; it's my 2nd BLU phone - I used to be a die hard Samsung user, but I only buy BLU phones now. Anyway, thanks again so much and best wishes to you!

    Great! Looks like your gonna break it lol. I just got the BLU Grand X LTE and have no idea how to get the back off. The dual sim slot is on the side and use the little key thing to pop it open, but there's NO EFING way to get inside the thing. I googled it, and got this video.
    Unfortunately, this cell doesn't even have a fingernail slot like yours. UGH. I got a monster phone lol.
    Everyone will laugh, but this is my first smartphone. Ok...there it is. My secret is out. I've used a semi smart phone for the last 10 years lol. I have no need for a smartphone really, but finally caved to my lil brother and got one. HE couldn't figure out how to get into it either. The owners manual SAYS you can add an sd card but that's as far as it goes!!

    I have this phone. Bought it back in 2016. It served its purpose. I have since upgraded to a Samsung Galaxy S8 as of this month. I was going to keep the Blu phone as an emergency phone (I switched my number from the Blu to the Samsung and had the need to insert a new SIM card for my carrier to assign Blu a new number). However, unlike the first time (after inserting the SIM and memory cards) when the back snapped on properly much like in this video, once trying to insert the newer SIM, the damned back cover will not - no matter how I try - go back on now. Must be warped. I guess that's what one gets with a $50 phone. The double SIM option was nice, too, even if I never used it. So, I guess it has its pluses and minuses, anyway.

    • @theone8818
      @theone8818 6 лет назад +1

      OFF. I just don't get most people's questions. I particularly found this one extremely odd. Like, you couldn't wait for the boot time to shut it off? (to install your SD). You'd rather not shut it off, then install the card to play it safe??? So, ironically, you waste more time coming here to ask if you can do it while it's still turned on.... I just don't get people's thinking...

    • @MrLego275
      @MrLego275 6 лет назад

      Crimson Skies Actually it's no different than putting in an SD card to a desktop computer. You can put it in while it's on, it doesn't make a difference.

      I am happy with the BLU Grand XL though. Feels and runs like a solid phone (a bit on the heavy side). 5.5HD (minimum pixel density) , Quad core 1.3Ghz, metal housing, Android 7 allows you to expand internal memory with the SD card making its 2GB ram enough for most uses (not extreme gaming). 13/8 mp cams. For $129 I would have to spend $199 on most others to get close. Do not try to remove the back though. I dont think it comes off. The SD and SIM are stored in a slide out tray released by a depression of the recessed button through a hole you can insert a paper clip into.
      I will be plenty happy with it until the Changhong H2 comes available.

      Can't go wrong with $80 on Amazon right now. (Prime too, overnight ship free). If anything goes wrong, you can send it back 30 days. Even if you simply change your mind. Best company on returns. For the price, it's even good as a spare phone. It's not like an $800 phone, lol. For the price it can't be that bad. I have seen mixed reviews, so far more on the positive end. It depends what the user is looking for.
