Just because nag abstain ka does not mean hindi pwede matolongan. It means they want to provide a checks-and-balance on the ruling majority. Congratulations OFW for having a sensible representative.

@@junaidcamid9901 I respect your point of view and understand what you are saying pero Yung statement mo ay evidence na sobrang kabiguan yung demokrasya natin. Just because you are minority does not mean hindi ka entitled sa government budget at hindi pwedeng tumotulong sa constituents mo. Sa isang tamang demokrasya, every single member regardless of majority or minority should be entitled to budget for their home province or partylist. Kung nasa minority ka, ibig sabihin may konting disagreements with the speaker at gusto nila mag offer ng ibang perspectivo para hindi rubber stamp ng congress. Dahil lang sistema natin ngayon is PATRONAGE POLITICS where kailangan ka mag karoon ng alipin sa ruling party.
