My Dad always wore a jump suit while working on the farm. I have a long list of exercises that would need to be completed before I could wear one. By the way we love the full length videos. Thank you and all of TNP team for the hard work. We can't forget Veri and Doodle, they are always work hard on the project!
I never really thought about it before, but it makes a lot of sense to use a one piece jumpsuit for tactical use. It eliminates the interference with your shirt blocking your gun, mags, light, or whatever.
Loved this video in particular. I've been wearing the 24-7 pants for about two years and I have the softshell jacket, I love the company and the quality of the products are wonderful
Nutn, I love your long videos. But this shorter one is actually a good thing, because I wouldn't otherwise be interested in watching a video about jumpsuits. But I saw 15 minutes and thought "I've got enough time to see what this is about". Worth it. Thanks!
I love watching your videos. The length is perfect for me. I like to know what it is like to live with a piece of equipment. The specs are just numbers. Seeing the item used in varying circumstances, getting the different nuances of the impressions it makes on you, that is why I value watching. I realize you take a lot of time to prep and then demonstrate, plus you give your opinions. Just had to say that those who crab are missing the full range of what your opinions offer. Thanks man.
Some guys I knew when exploring caves liked to wear jumpsuits made from a water resistant synthetic material that was extremely durable. They came in many colors, mostly bright ones which was useful for safety and rescue. They also kept pretty clean even when crawling in mud and dirt. I mostly wore cotton jumpsuits myself which got filthy and full of holes pretty fast. The fancy jumpsuits might have been aramid but I can't remember. They were not just normal polyester or nylon.
Sir, you are once again right on. As a former LAV (similar to striker) scout, vbss ,special magtf, prison guard. Jumpsuits are the most comfortable pieces of wear. Got them in all colors, some modified with pads, belts and whistles. 2 made into ghillie suits. Love your channel.
I totally agree. I find myself watching some shorter videos occasionally but whenever I'm looking to make a purchase or I am shopping for an item I always return to TNP for quality reviews.
When I was deployed to Iraq as a Bradley Fighting Vehicle crewman we were issued one piece Nomex flight suits for the fire resistance. I learend to love them, really comfortable.
Nut'n! First off, thank you for all your outstanding work with TNP! Just wanted to say...forget the people who complain about the length of your reviews. If they want short vids they can go elsewhere. You have a lot of knowledge and experience that true TNPers are here to learn. Please don't cut is short for people who aren't as interested. As always, outstanding review! Keep them coming! The owl is on the shed
Given our national trend for increased BMI is leading towards mumu as urban jump suit, I like the concept of a tactical jumpsuit When working outdoors, with the exception of summers, a jumpsuit keeps provides a endless utility. Trades persons can strap a toolbelt around their waist. Keep your tactical load nearby, and you'll not need to switch clothing. Basically, switch belts, bags, and back/chest rigs, and you easily go from work mode to SHTF-go-home mode.
Thanks Nutn! This is great- these tactical jumpsuits could double as coveralls when I go out to work on farm/ranch animals, all those pockets would be perfect for syringes/meds/blood collection tubes and I can wear them on the weekends to go run'n gunning!
I have two, though not TrueSpec, and enjoy wearing them. They are indeed extremely easy to put on, very comfortable and a great practical garment. They DO look tactical - there's no getting around that, but if tactical is what's required then it's a no-brainer. I have a black nomex one and a navy blue Goretex, the nomex is lighter and more breathable, but for extended night work if you could be stationary for long periods when the temp drops then the Goretex is king. Both are deathly silent. G
Pretty sure they're Peppers- He wears a lot of them, good optic quality, cheap, polarized. Usually can find them at REI or amazon, they have a pretty cool warranty too IIRC.
Hehehe, I bought the last two large black suits from botach for less than $20.00 each! l even found a green one made by 511 on eBay for under $15, and it's made of a fire resistant fabric. Thanks for the awesome review Nutin!
I used to think my dad was funny looking in his jumpsuits. Now you may have just gotten me off the fence. At 56 I may be ordering my first 'funny looking jumpsuit' Nut'n, your gun, knife and gear reviews have placed you in its own category in my home budget....along with NRA-ILA. Keep rock'n!
I use a Condor OPS chest rig that I put a couple of condor shotgun reload pouches on either side and in the center I have a couple of blackhawk S.T.R.I.K.E 18 round vertical pouches. It is a decent setup and fairly light and customizable.
I would like to see Velcro tabs to the side of the double reenforced knee as well as the longer Velcro piece on the ankle. But awesome review. Might pick one up if someone starts offering one with those features.
We do not come to a nutnfancy video for a synopsis. Short is for everyone else on RUclips. To me YOUR niche is a in-depth, deep think, clear-cut, raw professional truth, torture tested opinion formulation of what works.(PERIOD) If that takes you 57 mins to make and someone can't seem to find the time to hear it, then they must not be that interested in doing their due diligence when attempting to purchase quality gear.
i love pretty much everything about these especially the chest pockets and dedicated knife pocket. shame id look like uncle jessie from the dukes of hazard wearing it. i might still try one on and see how i feel in it. function is important to me and with a very good review its worth me at least taking a look. thanks
Hey Nutn, where did all the gun reviews go? I mean, good video, but seriously? A jumpsuit review? I really like your tabletop firearm videos, I wish they came back.
i wear jumpsuits all day everyday being an electrical contractor with it being part of ppe (flame retardant overalls) in the summer you learn to hate the way they keep the heat in close to your body, in the winter it ok but if shtf and we went WROL i wudnt be caught wearing anything else
personally jump suits aren't for me because a basic principal I was taught was keep your gear as something you can quickly rip off but not loss everything. So having an upper and lower piece is important to me, since I can loss an area and still know I have some of my stuff with me. Also because full body uniforms kinda scare me because a ghillie i once made caught fire, on that subject make sure your ghillie you can quickly remove and when wearing you carry a knife.
I got the TruSpec shorts and don't like them near as much as the 5.11 TacLite Pros. Very comfortable, very well made, but I just can't warm up to the goofy pocket closures. In fact I hate them more the more I try to like them. The gusset thing is another big miss (just my mileage).
Jump Suits are comfortable and great for utility-down'n dirty applications ... no plumber's butt crack to worry about , shirts coming un-tucked ... try one!
I've always kept a pair of lightweight overalls, change of underwear, socks, and lightweight shoes as emergency clothing in my e.d.c. bag. These would be way better ; lighter, less space. etc.
Why do you feel like you need to shorten the length of these videos? The POU section is the best part I love the long videos. Hour plus philosophy vids are the best

Love the 30 second review for those with no patience that feel "forced" to watch your videos.
Nutn, I love your long videos. But this shorter one is actually a good thing, because I wouldn't otherwise be interested in watching a video about jumpsuits. But I saw 15 minutes and thought "I've got enough time to see what this is about". Worth it. Thanks!
"No, we're not going to Comic-Con."
I burst out laughing!
Been watching you for a while and never knew you were a pilot. Thank you for your service, sir!

Nutn, I love the gear reviews. Especially the clothing reviews! Yet another strong point that you bring to the table. Hail TNP brethren!

The Walther PPQ Nutn's shooting rocks. I purchased one a few months back, in the M2 version, after seeing the "sniper pistol" review.
I am So Great you make like 15-35 min videos
Thanks man for being REAL!
You and Doodle should go to a comic con. There was one in Salt Lake and it did really well.

On my ambulance squad in FL we wore jump suits for night shifts. Loved mine. Unfortunately my shape has changed since then!
Pretty sure they're Peppers- He wears a lot of them, good optic quality, cheap, polarized. Usually can find them at REI or amazon, they have a pretty cool warranty too IIRC.

Beautiful family portrait sir
Glad to see you shooting the PPQ some more.
Don't have to tuck in, remained tucked in, this is awesome.
Dude it looks like Owen Wilson's costume from Bottle Rocket. You're hilarious. Hope the family is well buddy.
Liked it.. but I'm sure Nutn said he could review it in five minutes - I love his optimisam.
Nice review full and to the point.
Never knew there was such a jumpsuit nutnfancy! Thanks for the video, just might need to get on at that price.
Nice. Love it when you bring us options we might not be considering.
I've got similar ones from my Coastie days. Awesome gear that doesn't get a lot of attention.
I don't know if they have a potty flap but I'll be waiting for nutn's video on that modification! ;)
1 nice thing about jumpsuits, never have to worry about find a matching top and bottom
Love Truspec stuff! Ooo Yeah! Nutn is on the run for a few vids, very nice.Thx Sir...
Hey love all your videos. Really appreciate all you do in tnp. This double owl approves this video.
I use a Condor OPS chest rig that I put a couple of condor shotgun reload pouches on either side and in the center I have a couple of blackhawk S.T.R.I.K.E 18 round vertical pouches. It is a decent setup and fairly light and customizable.
I was thinking of using this for hiking. "Will it retain water? Absolutely." Just broke my heart lol.
I would like to see Velcro tabs to the side of the double reenforced knee as well as the longer Velcro piece on the ankle. But awesome review. Might pick one up if someone starts offering one with those features.
They remind me of Navy coveralls... don't forget to tie your sleeves around the waist in a moments notice lol!
*hint hint!
Speaking of bug out kit, where is the Nutnfancy official bug out kit review?
Nutn', thanks for another excellent review and gear choice. I was able to find one (OD Green) on E-bay. The owl is on the shed !!
Cool suit, review as always informative. Purchased one in Khaki. Thanks Nutn.
Thanks for the review, Nut'n! Just picked one up on eBay for under 40. Get'm while they last!
dig the idea, never thought of wearing them
I use a "Jumpsuit" as tank-driver at the army. :-)
i think that's the condor fleece jacket. its an excellent option Nutn has a review of it

Nice. Cool. I guess I need to explore a bit more lol. Thanks have a good one
I need one for when I walk the dog, shoulder rig, flashlight, some pretzel m&m's and a camelbak.
Man, your B.A., Lt Col Pilot and you drive a Z. You're my hero
Don't forget you could always scotch guard it to be mostly water proof
Personally I much prefer the options of having a chest, belt and thigh rig that I can strap onto anything as opposed to a dedicated jumpsuit
Looks like a neat option. But where I live, in this high humidity, polyester sucks. Interesting vid though.
The original PPQ still making a cameo in 2013. Very nice.
I loved 5.11's jumpsuit also. Also discontinued... I did get two before they quit making them though. Amazing, and flame retardant to boot.
Hey Nutn, where did all the gun reviews go? I mean, good video, but seriously? A jumpsuit review? I really like your tabletop firearm videos, I wish they came back.
Speedsuit, One-zee, whatever you call it I think it's bad ass because it has mag pockets within your pockets. Bad ass!
Ive taken my Green coveralls from my VAW squadron once they get worn out as I am a grease monkey and now use them for shooting etc
Great review, Nutn. Loved the Star Wars reference!
Very useful when doing sock checks.

great to see more vidos in HD
My grandfather wore jumpsuits every day. I think I saw him in jeans 2 times.
No gusset makes me think of Duluth Trading Co. Jeans make out of fire hose material (with gusset). Worth checking out. :-)
I love my jumpsuit sir, like working in pajamas. hooyah!
I got the TruSpec shorts and don't like them near as much as the 5.11 TacLite Pros. Very comfortable, very well made, but I just can't warm up to the goofy pocket closures. In fact I hate them more the more I try to like them. The gusset thing is another big miss (just my mileage).
After seeing this vid I now want one but they're no where to be found. My wallet thanks you Nutn for your sense of timing.
Were those photos of Tom Cruise in Top Gun. You go Maverick!
Nice, until you have to take a dump.If you don't wear it for very long it's OK
How does one take a tactical dump when wearing one of those?
Hey Nutnfancy, I haven't been able to find a BOK. I was able to find your USK and you mention a BOK. Have you done one yet?
Jump Suits are comfortable and great for utility-down'n dirty applications ... no plumber's butt crack to worry about , shirts coming un-tucked ... try one!
Dude! Love the two handed panga, you should review it.
Honest review lol will be picking one of these up for shop use and so I can wear it half on like Tom Cruz's in top gun lol
pretty cool might try to get one in OD
Great bugout clothes.. Good call Nutn.
I love it. Don't know if I'm a jumpsuit kinda guy though.
I've always kept a pair of lightweight overalls, change of underwear, socks, and lightweight shoes as emergency clothing in my e.d.c. bag. These would be way better ; lighter, less space. etc.
Great, ABBA playing on your ipod, Buggetnuster in the background.
Great idea, Nutn. Thanks for the video!
Best part of jumpsuits, shit cannot fall down your pants unless it comes from the collar.
Like them. Trying to integrate them into the SRT I'm on.
Plenty of space for broad...bellied....folks though. So at least it's got that going for it.
/Doodle
Nut'n.. I had some guy walk in our gun shop the other week with a flight jump suit on... I'm blaming it on you. haha. ; )
tactical Jason outfit? does it come with the optional machete, or chainsaw holder?
Nutn, you look totally badass at 2:05
Why do you feel like you need to shorten the length of these videos? The POU section is the best part I love the long videos. Hour plus philosophy vids are the best
US Navy Coveralls FTW!!!!
I knew some pilots that actually did sleep in their flight suits once in a while. I wonder if Nutn ever slept in his.
how about a review of the sick white shades you're always wearing!
Right on..
I'm not sure I have the body style to rock a jumpsuit..
Great review though.
Thanks
big fellars and jumpsuits dont work well but bdu jacket in multicam and acu pants in multicam =AWESOME !!!
thanks for a cool upload.
COOL PIX MAN WISH I KNEW HOW TO FLY THUO BAD BOYS....
RESPECT......
I would love to find one with pit zips...
never really thought about a jumpsuit
