I've never understood people who complained about corrosion in their cars but never did anything to stop it. Usually even if a car is prone to corrosion, all that needs to be done is to spray the underbody and internal structure profiles with a mixture of wax and oil that is now widely available with additional anti corrosion additives. Before such easy to use sprays appeared on the market, the way to solve the problem once and for all was to pump in hot grease. That pretty much eliminated corrosion issue in any car.
Like a few here, I had two. Took a 1.6 GTS version to University and a few years later bought a 2.5 V6. Loved them both. Had other alfas too, like the Sprint and Sud. If I were richer when I was younger I’d have had others.
While explaining the suspension set up at 2:26, there's a shot of a front wheel drive Alfasud Sprint Veloce. I love the Sprint - but all Alfa fans can tell the difference - It's almost as though the makers of the video are only pretending to like Alfa's.
Love the GTV,all time classic The video however was confusing as the timeline was constantly going back and forth through time. Very difficult to keep up with
I had the GTV 6 1985, i had the timing serpentine belt slip due to oil drip on belt . It was a living nightmare !! I still have my 1976 Spider Veloce with chain timing belt and now 189,000 miles a daily driver in Florida when weather permits. Getting 2024 Gulia eventhough Alfa is going electric 2025 , we will survive.
ho avuto una gtv 2000 2 serie usata tutti i giorni non aveva difetti era molto divertente da guidare unico problema che i carabinieri ti sentivano arrivare 2 chilomertri prima
Your randomly-inserted photos that have little relation to the copy and mixed-up timeline are irritating. My 1981 GTV-6 with the Busso engine, once the head gasket was replaced, was bulletproof. Interior materials were crap. Car was fantastic to drive, 50/50 weight distribution must be experienced. There's also a Callaway twin-turbo up the street from me.
My God whoever wrote this script is completely full of crap. So much unnecessary BS outright falsehoods, and inaccuracies. I also checked out about a third of the way through
I owned 5 Alfas 2 of them were gtv6 , I still have 1986 one love it . What a car
The Alfa Alfetta GT is a classic. Similar to the Porsche 928. The Alfetta is a legend to be appreciated and loved. Drive one and smile ! John USA
Born in the 70's the Alfetta GT badly crossed the 80's: too much plastics burded its grace.
Btw: Bravo Giugiaro!
La scena con Roger Moore che ruba la V6 2500 marrone è impressa nella mia memoria 😉

I owned two of them. One a 1977 model and the other a 1984 model. Loved them all , the mistress' as they were. Heavy duty demanding tarts.
I saw a silver GTV6 yesterday in a Co-op carpark.

I had two 156 V6's, also 2.5, loved the look and the sound of course. Always an event going for a drive.
@@martytdd1606 in winter I had to start in 2nd gear and keep it there until the gearbox oil in the back was warm enough to change to third.
I put in a lot of miles on a 2 litre and a V6. While the latter was a bit quicker, the beautiful balance and handling of the earlier car was lost.
Questa era la vera Alfa Romeo, non quella di adesso 😢
Sono d'accordo con te. Ma le attuali Giulia, Stelvio e altre non sono male.

My dream car. I had always the suspect Audi A7 got inspiration from it.
Love the GTV,all time classic

I see a few copyright claims coming in...

Perche fate vedere anche la sprint? Non c'entra nulla con la GTV...
C'era un errore. Puoi vedere Sprint nel video che ho appena condiviso
I stopped watching about half way through. So much disinformation especially regarding the South African model.
Please remove the background music. Otherwise great work
GTV6🍀🤍🌶️
A slideshow on RUclips, with a robot reading the script. What a crappy video.
Don't watch if you don't like it

Thanks for your videos, but the music's a real disaster, it's so bad, it sucks for an Englishman!
Thank you. What song would you recommend?
