Even 3 years after the release of this video, it's still the best choice for a recap or reminder of how to update these FrSky radios. You're the man JB, and a treasure for the entire FPV community
I just followed this video's instructions yesterday with the X-Lite I received as part of my first foray into FPV. What a process! With great power comes ... great unintelligibility and prerequisites! Huge credit though that the video was done in a purely linear fashion and with secondary hosting to make people's lives easier when going through this for the first (or 100th) time. Just following along got 2.2.3 installed on mine and it's in that from unboxed to ready-to-start-with condition in only a little more time than the video's run-time. Thank you so much for putting it all in one place!
ive had a dozen computers throughout my lifetime and never learned basic computer use. with this vid i downloaded your stm file and got the CLI dump on my new tinyhawk. now to figure out the new qx7. i have a lot to learn, have several 5 inchers built and several other frames i got cheap, ebay.this hobby is about 10 times or more complicated as racing rc cars on road asphalt and ozite carpet. look up vids of twelth scale carpet nationals. look forward to racing drones @61 if i can figure the computer part out. being very specific with instruction is usually best. hope to hit a kwad camp at your house. i live due east other side of sams gap on 26, after i learn a little more. you the man
Yeah, instead of upgrading the firmware by just plugging the xlite into the pc, I just did it "the old fashion way" by going into the radio bootloader. On the xlite you hold down the "D-Pad" and press the on button. Then just connect it to the pc and flash... easy peasy! Maybe because I've done this with other Frsky radios it works without having to mess with Windows drivers or ImpulseRC? Anyway, THEN I came to this video which was good because I forgot all about the BF LUA which would have been a nightmare not to have it out in the field!! Thanks Mr. Bardwell!
It is greatly appreciated when you get very specific about the button presses and stick direction. It really helps us new guys out! I truly enjoy your content and style !! Thank you for your time and effort.
I know I'm late to the party but I just followed your video to set up my x-lite and I just wanted to say thanks, you always make it easy, you see I'm not a computer person so I need step by step instructions, so thank you J.B.👍😎👍
Joshua this is my first taranis I ever had and I did everything on this video, thank you so much for the video because this is all new to me, I am so happy thank you
Hi mate, I was stuck there for a bit trying to get my radio up and running and thanks to you I was able to fix all that. You are doing a great job there, and thanks.
The way how you explain things is so awesome!!! English is not my motherlanguage but it´s so easy to understand you + follow your instrictions :D Many many thanks and greets from germany ;)
Thank you...........I’m fairly new.......started to build my own quads.....I was having trouble installing downloads on the radio.....I was using a 64 g sad card........I copied and transferred to a 32 g sd card......installed it in radio and it worked.......!
Excellent and thank you. Incidentally, the only SD card I had was a 64GB one and it couldn't be read... possibly too big. Smaller card worked. Thanks again.
I was so confused when you suddenly didn't mention anything about inserting the SD card in the X-Lite. But I luckily figured out that I had to put the SD card inside and it automatically updated the X-Lite. Maybe something to mention in the video? Since I had the SD in the computer to put all the files on there.... like you said is quicker.
Thank you for this video Joshua, I actually used it to update my Xlite, Q7 and Q7S all at the same sitting! Your videos are so easy to follow and just plain make sense. Well for me anyway.... :-)
This was kind of like a fun little treasure hunt, gathering all of the files. Thanks for the video! Now I have a radio with a bunch of stuff I don't know how to use!
Appreciate the knowledge Joshua Bardwell without you and Blue Falcon I don't know what I'd be doing now probably going crazy keep up the good work definitely learned something today
Hey Bardwell great work I know how much stress u go through to get to here thanks for this vid I already new how to do this cause I have a QX7 but great job!!!!
Great video again, JB. Thanks. I did a whole thing with putting it in bootliader mode by pressing all 4 d-pad buttons and whatnot. Also, my SD card contents came with a very nice voice pack. I added Amber to my QX7, but it never worked. I think I used an 8-character version rather than 6-character. My X-lite set up easy and clean, and my QX7 was a bastard... but I’m a lot better at it now. :)
Thanks Joshua! I hate doing these upgrades and you walked me through it. Amber doesn't have that edge on her voice, which is nice. Now I have to figure out how the BG Lua Scripts will be helpful to me!
Awesome this is the first time I have ever installed firmware on a controller and it works perfect, thanks so much Josh. I have no idea how to use and adjust PID settings on my controller but I will watch the video you suggested and see how I go. Thanks again mate.
Yes good question Collin Allen... in the video Joshua said he would link the video on how to use Lua Scrips but he didn't...(Bad Joshua) If you just type Lua script in the search on Joshua's page it will bring up part 1 & 2 on how to use Lua Scrips. hope this helps
If your looking to set up the xlite to the Freerider simulator check out "Painless 360"video on it. I followed it on the xlite even thought it is for the X9D+ and it works great. Sorry Josh promoting someone else's channel on yours, but life is about helping all. My xlite is working fine for everything now, got all of my models set up. For anyone interested no you cannot put your sim card in from your X9D+ and transfer your models across. I know it sucks ass. But you'll know your way around your xlite real fast binding them all over...lol
I have been on the fence about buying a FrSky radio so now I have the definitive set up guide should I get the Lite or the 9 w/ Hall effect gimbals? Hurry up, I have the money, need to learn asap.......as usual, inquiring minds need to know. Great that you have taken the time to update the constant changes that influence the hobby.
Mike K - I have a couple of high end JR radios, I can program in a matter of minutes, they work for everything other than telemetry, etc. The programming for FrSky is complex in order to get anything to work for someone who has never done it. Still on the fence.........I know those who have them love them, thinking.........still
i just got a x-lite yesterday.. i'm thankful to have you JB, because this thing confuses the sh$^*$ out of me :p so many options compared to my old fs-i6x. i spend an hour yesterday trying to bind it to my hawk5 and setting up a arm switch XD
my old flysky just had a bind button and that was that :p but besides it being a lot more complicated i really love the x-lite :D been rippin for 4 days straight and not 1 cramp in my hands and the amount of control i gained is bizar :D
Kaoss that does sound nice and easy haha, I came from a bugs 3 controller and those little tiny ones that come with the e011, the difference in accuracy and feel was night and day! At first I was so confused why my switches wouldnt register on betaflight and then I learned about mixer finally, lol I felt so dumb
Had issues with Betaflight TX Lua Scripts 1.5.0 here on the X-Lite where the pid screen would not load after following your steps and holding down on the joystick (Got some weird message instead). Loaded version 1.4.1 onto the sd card and got it to work. Thanks for the tutorial!
We were all noobs once...its my turn. Can ya help me get my Taranis X-Lite and my Tiny Hawk Freestyle on the same firmware. They used to work fine together until I pulled them out after a year or so and decided to update firmware on the TX and RX to freshen things up. I can't bind anymore with any of them. Not sure how to match firmware on both tx and rx. I used the latest of both I believe ... I used Betaflight and Open TX companion... Even a link to the right RUclips video would be great. Preferably by JB Thanks for all you do Joshua, You are the easiest guy to follow. ⚠
Lol! Amber.. If only it was.. Oh well I went too far already! Man that radio is sexy, I got a white Q X7 and now I wanna change for the X-Lite... 🤔 I'm patiently waiting for your review Joshua 👍
I forgot how so for anyone who was like me who was scouring the internet and searching comments for "x-lite s", you gotta hold the trim (plus pad) in the center to hold all 4 down at the same time as you power on the tx to get into bootloader or whatever mode
Hello JB, loving your 51477. I updated every radio I have to 2.3.10. After reading BF tuning notes I'm attempting to have smoother RC signal for feed forward. Have you noticed any improvements from radio updates?
mac users, i did a thing, i did a whole thing by myself... well i followed the 67 steps of this video but i did 1 thing by myself, when chucking the file onto the sd card, the transmitter wont recognise it unless you expand it so youve got a few files and bits, then you need to copy/ move these and only these onto the sd card. if you close it then open the sd card the first thing you should see is folders named "script" "models" ect, hope this helps
what if I have a Taranis qx7 with access+accst D16 and LBT? i'm trying to bind my emax tinyhawk 1s and I can't figure out how to do it properly. Any suggestions? thanks for the video man!
Thank you for adding the driver section, even though it's something everyone should know by now. I just reinstalled Windows and needed that link and this video reminded me I need to do that.
i fly with x-lite for a while now and i'm not returning to my taranis x9d. The only downside I had was i had to use the channel mixer to have my AETR or whatever match with the betaflight ones. not that it is a big deal but i had to do that.
I love the design of the Xlite. Feature packed and very small. I think I'll wait your tests with R9 module before I bite the bullet on this one. Getting it to tun Open Tx is nice, but I really would like to know your thoughts on how's life with it and 900 mhz module (range, battery life, the whole nine yards). As always, I learnt something today. As a Linux user and a fellow weirdo, I understand you need some quality time with Amber. Get a room, or a ticket to the Mile high club. Thank you.
Thanks for the great video. I am new to the hobby and just updated my Taranis X Lite firmware. Now it will not bind to my Modular 6 - any ideas? Thanks for your help. Cheers
Was playing a Sim and forgot to unplug the X lite afterwards and bricked it... after doing everything you said to do in one of your videos my remote was fixed! HOWEVER the Aileron(roll) part of my right gimbal reads that it is stuck left even when the stick is centered.. I tried factory resetting it, re-flashing and calibrating the remote without any success... any advice on what to do before buying a new radio @Joshuad Bardwell?????????
Hi Joshua, great channel always use your channel to LEARN SOMETHING NEW!! lol but just watching your set up for x lite on open tx companion profile page ticking lua, luac, noheli etc i noticed at the bottom were it says default channel order a lot of other streamers change this from the default RETA to AETR or TAER saying it will save time when binding micro quads etc, i noticed you left yours as default RETA does this make any difference ? many thanks Paul from UK
Joshua is it possible you could cover how to flash and update the irangex irx4 lite module using the github website, there are no other streamers who have covered this but i always see people asking the same question . Thanks
Thank you so much for your help Bardwell. I was able to update the firmware however the audio was not working and I then discovered that I was using an SD 64g card but that size was not compatible so I ended up using a SD 16g which worked. Keep up the great videos. Do you have coupons to help support you when making purchases on line?
hello joshua bardwale, my name is khoirudin, fpv pilot from indonesia, i have taranis xlite with r9m lite module and slim r9 plus receiver immortal T TBS ANTENNA, firmware fcc, horizontal antenna position, front and back in quad. having flight distance problem, RSSI drop at 40m distance so easy is failsafe, is there something wrong with the wiring? Or the settings? If you have experienced this, please explain to me, thank you🙏
I have a question about the Eachine Novice III model. I have a question. Can you restore the factory settings in the ER8 transmitter again? Just like it came out of the factory. I mixed up a bit on the ER8 menu and now the drone does not respond to its arming (SWA Arm / Disarm)
Hi Josh, hi everyone, I am very excited to get into this hobby. I have just got myself this radio and a tinyhawk. I have followed your instructions to the letter, I also followed the binding process but it won't bind with the tinyhawk... I don't know why. The receiver is good cause I got the hawk from a guy who installed mockingbird on it and had no issues with binding. I would very much appreciate some advice. Thanks for all the great work!
Josh, can you add a link to the video for setting up the lua scripts which comes after this video ? i hear you say at the end of this vid that you will put a link in the description but i could not see it so if you can link it for us to follow this video that would be great thanks again.
Thanks so much for this video!! So I gather that the SD card that you use has to STAY in the Transmitter and is not just used to transfer the files over. That was unclear at first but I guess it stays..
hello, So for the first time I was trying to update my Firmware on my frsky xlite S and bricked the controller. then I was able to flash it back to life. then I wanted to try and still update it with the correct firmware. but now my D Pad may be stuck and I can't access the boot loader mode. I was wondering if you had any tricks or videos to help me with the D pad repair? or if I just lost my boot loader and my controller is toast? thank you!
Do I need to set anything different in companion for LBT version? So happy you posted this video. My X-lite is arriving tomorrow with some r-xsr's 😃 Josh, I know you are a busy man but could you attach the links to the description please...
Great videos. I learn something every time. Do you think you could do a video about binding the X-Lite? When I bind I only get 8 channels option. Am I suppose to choose 1-16 in the radio? Doesn't RSSI need a channel? What if I need more then 8 channels. Betaflight tuning notes say if using 16 channels to change the filter Hrz. Im confused. Thanks, keep up the great videos.
I think you mean the dialog box that asks 1-8 Telemetry On / 1-8 Telemetry Off etc. That option is only really relevant if you are using a receiver with PWM outputs, which you probably aren't. For a mini quad using SBUS or FPort always just select 1-8 and telemetry on or off depending on if you want telemetry (and if your receiver supports it).
Love your videos, very informative. So, I followed all these directions, and I flashed new firmware to my FC (SPracingevo 3), and bound the XM+ receiver in D16 mode..... motors spin up in Betaflight using sliders, receiver tab shows the 4 channels of the receiver are talking with the XLite controller. None of the switches work on the mode tab, and the radio won't move any of the motors, either in Betaflight, or disconnected from the computer. I even rolled the FC back to older firmware.... what gives?
Just a note, windows 10 doesn't need the STM driver. From the web page: "Starting from Windows® 10, the STSW-STM32102 driver is no more adequate and the usage of the native inbox driver is recommended."
Ok I know nothing about anything lmao. I just bought the Emax tinyhawk rtf kit. I want to get this controller/transmitter. I see that mode 4 is the closest to playing an FPS. Can the x lite do mode 4?
Yes it can, but I strongly recommend you learn in mode 2. You will adapt to it very quickly and have no problem going back and forth between FPS and FPV. The reason to learn in mode 2 is that is what the vast majority of the world uses. If you learn in mode 4, you won't be able to fly anybody else's quad and they won't be able to fly yours. This will seriously get in the way of fun at any social event, and if eventually you make a profession out of it, you will have to re-learn mode 2 anyway.
Damn, you schooled me and made some valid points I hadn’t even considered. Thank you... looks like I’m learning mode 2 lmao. Thank you very much!!! And awesome response time I didn’t expect that! Liked and subscribed sir!
Liked and subscribed as well! I recently purchased the exact same kit and saw that transmitter and had the same questions and was directed to this channel and video. Great step by step tutorial, its exactly what I need. Thank you
I'm new to this and everything was going fine! I have the xlite so I tried following the instructions to the t. When the controller is hooked up and power off it just keeps searching for controller and never goes past that. Should I uninstall impulserc and reinstall? When I hooked the controller up windows didn't detect new hardware could that be the issue and if so can you point me the way to fix it. I appreciate any help you can give! Great videos too, very detailed. I subscribed immediately!
SMDH!!!!! You were right, it was the dang cable. I don't quite understand why as it works with my tablet and phone, other devices just fine on the computer......which is why I didn't think to try that! Sorry for wasting your time man but you still saved me a heap of trouble, even though I feel like a dumb @@@!
I have the jumper t12 and the current version is 2.2.2. Right now I don't see any sound packs or sd card content on the opentx site to download for that version. I'm hesitant to upgrade to a new version for fear of losing my models. I really only wanted the voice commands. Is there a way to get those without upgrading firmware?
Thanks for this. Can you take the SD card from the X9D and plug it into this one and use the x-lite? Will be traveling and plan to take a quad, not the X9D and collecting the x-lite when i arrive.
Thank you for the video! But after 15:40min, what am I meant to do with the SD card once I have copied all the files onto it? Can anyone tell me? Sorry, brand new FrSky user here...
No that's it, thanks! I read about others holding down buttons when turning the radio on etc, so I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing a step that everyone else already knows. All working now, thank you!
Joshua, I haven't watched the video yet, but I wanted to quickly ask; is there a way to setup OpenTX so that every time I add a new quad the switches and everything else are all already configured to something I have preset? All my quads use the exact same switch setups and I find it tedious setting up the switches on the Taranis QX7 and the XD9, it's one of the things I really enjoyed about my Turnigy Evolution I had when I first stared, add a quad and you're good to go. Thanks in advance, I'll watch your video tonight.
If all your quads use the same setup, then don't make a new model. Just bind them to the same model as I discuss here: ruclips.net/video/lnWoFHquveI/видео.html Basically, you have to have one model for Crossfire, one for D16 receivers, one for D8 receivers, etc. But as long as all quads are set up the same with channels and aux modes, you don't need a unique model for each one. If you do want a unique model for each one, just copy the model and then bind the new receiver.
JB, when you drag the lua folder over? Is your computer set to merge these automatically? Or overwrite? Or? I'm always presented with an option on what to do.. not sure if I'm overwriting or merging..
Hey guys. I'm super green to this. I want to set up a borrowed Frsky xlite to my computer to try Lift Off simulator on steam. But seem to be a problem with even getting the controller connected to the computer. Do you know a guide for how to succeed with this? It is connected with a chord but doesnt show in //run. TIA
You should be fine but just in case, do this: Turn on the radio. Plug in USB. Menu pops up on the USB asking if you want USB HID or game controller. Select USB HID. Taranis SD card appears in your computer. Open Companion. Select menu opion Back Up Radio. Back up the radio to a file. Now you're good to upgrade.
Typically this means either 1) you didn't install the stm32 driver, 2) the device is not in bootloader mode, or 3) the USB cable is power-only and not data.
@@JoshuaBardwell changed the wires 3 times, found one that was detecting a drive on my computer then i knew it was ok. Also the impulse was still searching forever so i skipped that part and went to open tx straight and worked, thanks for the answer :)
Hey Joshua, ive been on opentx 2.2.4 with a x9d SE, pre2019. Is it ok for me to upgrade my transmitter to 2.3.x? Will I have to rebind any of my frsky receivers?
thanks for another nice tutorial video! i just bought the x lite and the MPM adapter, after doing this firmware update i now have lost the option to choose flysky in the module, do you know why?
@@JoshuaBardwell omg, after a week of head scratching, i finally found out that i needed to check multimodule in companion, now it works, and today YOU learned something?! hehe, pheww, okay next up: the lua script tutorial!
Hay JB I'm following your instructions on updating my xlite s and after writing to tx is done %100 I get a message "new firmware is not compatible with the one currently installed". Should I be worried
X9D flash is identical except you choose a different radio type in OpenTX and download a different SD card contents. If you are on 2.X then the models should not be affected when you upgrade.
Even 3 years after the release of this video, it's still the best choice for a recap or reminder of how to update these FrSky radios. You're the man JB, and a treasure for the entire FPV community

thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!! now i can fly with my d8 drone!
Nice video, can’t wait for your review
Lol! Amber.. If only it was.. Oh well I went too far already! Man that radio is sexy, I got a white Q X7 and now I wanna change for the X-Lite... 🤔 I'm patiently waiting for your review Joshua 👍
Hey Josh, I'm excited to fly my new collective pitch heli with my X-Lite :P
Joshua you are my superhero!
13:36 hmmm?... I wonder why bardwell goes incognito? Lol just giving you a hard time great explanation as always!
Have you noticed any improvements from radio updates?
mac users, i did a thing, i did a whole thing by myself... well i followed the 67 steps of this video but i did 1 thing by myself, when chucking the file onto the sd card, the transmitter wont recognise it unless you expand it so youve got a few files and bits, then you need to copy/ move these and only these onto the sd card. if you close it then open the sd card the first thing you should see is folders named "script" "models" ect, hope this helps
awesome job! but can i tick the same boxes if i want to have my crossfire lua scrips?
what if I have a Taranis qx7 with access+accst D16 and LBT? i'm trying to bind my emax tinyhawk 1s and I can't figure out how to do it properly. Any suggestions? thanks for the video man!
Had to put the folder contents in its proper place on Win7. It didn't ask to merge, only overwrite.
Thank you.
looking forward to the r9 range test!
opentx 2.2.2 stable is available
Thanks for the great video. I am new to the hobby and just updated my Taranis X Lite firmware. Now it will not bind to my Modular 6 - any ideas? Thanks for your help. Cheers
Thanks heaps for the tutorial, saved me a ton of time!
The bottom line is, it must match what's on the quad. You can change the default to match Betaflight or you can change Betaflight to match the radio.
Joshua is it possible you could cover how to flash and update the irangex irx4 lite module using the github website, there are no other streamers who have covered this but i always see people asking the same question . Thanks
Thanks for the video, helped out a lot
You need to bind in D8 mode.
@@JoshuaBardwell I got it! Thanks a bunch, let's get this hobby on the way!
Make sure to check the Multimodule option if you use the IRX4 module.
great video !very helpful !!!
Thank you so much for this tut!
Wirklich heftig👍💯
hello, So for the first time I was trying to update my Firmware on my frsky xlite S and bricked the controller. then I was able to flash it back to life. then I wanted to try and still update it with the correct firmware. but now my D Pad may be stuck and I can't access the boot loader mode. I was wondering if you had any tricks or videos to help me with the D pad repair? or if I just lost my boot loader and my controller is toast?
thank you!
Do I need to set anything different in companion for LBT version?
So happy you posted this video. My X-lite is arriving tomorrow with some r-xsr's 😃
Josh, I know you are a busy man but could you attach the links to the description please...
Yes, that is what I was referring to. And if I select 1-8 channels on the radio. One of those channels need to be used for RSSI to OSD?
Love your videos, very informative. So, I followed all these directions, and I flashed new firmware to my FC (SPracingevo 3), and bound the XM+ receiver in D16 mode..... motors spin up in Betaflight using sliders, receiver tab shows the 4 channels of the receiver are talking with the XLite controller. None of the switches work on the mode tab, and the radio won't move any of the motors, either in Betaflight, or disconnected from the computer. I even rolled the FC back to older firmware.... what gives?
You need to set up the Arming Mode to one of the aux channels.

Just a note, windows 10 doesn't need the STM driver.
From the web page:
"Starting from Windows® 10, the STSW-STM32102 driver is no more adequate and the usage of the native inbox driver is recommended."
If you try to actually do that, I think you will find it doesn't work.
thanks... great video and all set
Please do a great freestyle build video
Try different USB cable? The steps shown in the video should work. When you run impulse rc driver fixer does it find the device?
Put it back in the radio :-)
Ummmm I'm sorry if I've missed your point.
No that's it, thanks! I read about others holding down buttons when turning the radio on etc, so I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing a step that everyone else already knows. All working now, thank you!
can I use amber soundpacks with opentx 2.3.7 on Xlite pro?
Joshua, I haven't watched the video yet, but I wanted to quickly ask; is there a way to setup OpenTX so that every time I add a new quad the switches and everything else are all already configured to something I have preset?
All my quads use the exact same switch setups and I find it tedious setting up the switches on the Taranis QX7 and the XD9, it's one of the things I really enjoyed about my Turnigy Evolution I had when I first stared, add a quad and you're good to go.
Thanks in advance, I'll watch your video tonight.
If all your quads use the same setup, then don't make a new model. Just bind them to the same model as I discuss here:
ruclips.net/video/lnWoFHquveI/видео.html
Basically, you have to have one model for Crossfire, one for D16 receivers, one for D8 receivers, etc. But as long as all quads are set up the same with channels and aux modes, you don't need a unique model for each one.
If you do want a unique model for each one, just copy the model and then bind the new receiver.
You're a legend! Exactly what I was after, thanks mate!
JB, when you drag the lua folder over? Is your computer set to merge these automatically? Or overwrite? Or? I'm always presented with an option on what to do.. not sure if I'm overwriting or merging..
Merge.
sweet, thanks for the quick reply!
TIA
Hey Joshua! I already have 4 models on there but I want to upgrade. Do you have a video on saving and replacing files after upgrade?
You should be fine but just in case, do this: Turn on the radio. Plug in USB. Menu pops up on the USB asking if you want USB HID or game controller. Select USB HID. Taranis SD card appears in your computer. Open Companion. Select menu opion Back Up Radio. Back up the radio to a file. Now you're good to upgrade.
Hey @joshua Bardwell , I've been doing your step by step process but my impulse RC driver fixer is just searching forever.. any idea on this ? Thanks
Also the impulse was still searching forever so i skipped that part and went to open tx straight and worked, thanks for the answer :)
thanks! this was helpful!
Hey Joshua, ive been on opentx 2.2.4 with a x9d SE, pre2019. Is it ok for me to upgrade my transmitter to 2.3.x? Will I have to rebind any of my frsky receivers?
if not for your video (and effort) my frsky xlite would be nothing more than a medieval looking xbox controller that cant play video games.
that means you can't google and read. yikes

thanks for another nice tutorial video! i just bought the x lite and the MPM adapter, after doing this firmware update i now have lost the option to choose flysky in the module, do you know why?
No, sorry -- I don't know why that is.
@@JoshuaBardwell the Vantac MPM Lite 2.4G Multiple Protocol TX Module?
@@JoshuaBardwell omg, after a week of head scratching, i finally found out that i needed to check multimodule in companion, now it works, and today YOU learned something?! hehe, pheww, okay next up: the lua script tutorial!
Hay JB I'm following your instructions on updating my xlite s and after writing to tx is done %100 I get a message "new firmware is not compatible with the one currently installed". Should I be worried
Props! Thank you, all the work was done by you, now I (and Amber) can go play... ...gimbal springs feel kinda loose, wished my sticks were stiffer...
Hey JB, to flash the X9D do I need those drivers and driver fixer? What about the models and so on of the X9D, what should I do?
X9D flash is identical except you choose a different radio type in OpenTX and download a different SD card contents. If you are on 2.X then the models should not be affected when you upgrade.
Joshua Bardwell Thanks a lot, JB! 😊
the emax-satomi sound pack is pretty cool.
oh boy, happy to be a mac user.
