Excellent tutorial, Dee! This will be the first step to getting comfortable customizing premium diecast. 🔥❤️

Thank you Derek! Agreed, I want to start progressing with premium diecast customs, super basic here but you gotta start somewhere!

Nice!! Easy swop Dee Moo. What I'd like to see more clearly are the wheel well the axels sit on; the axel cap or covering that is the base of the interior. Does it also have a cut out or not?
Finally, if you have a digital caliper, measure and compare the size of the original wheel and the donor wheel - this also guides you if your into lowering your ride.
Looking forward to part 2 where we get to slap those rides!❤

I probably should invest in a digital caliper just to provide the actual specs. I believe BNDS advertises them as 9.8mm and Hotwheels claims real riders to be 10mm. Not sure if that is with tire or not so an actual on camera measurement would be nice! The channel for the axle is not as pronounced on Mini GT as it is on say a Hotwheels. The interior piece that covers the axle and holds it in place does not have a channel for the axle, however you could shave a slight channel into it but precision is key or the axle gets too much slop like the Chaser I showed. Premium diecast is definitely more of an exact science then Hotwheels or Matchbox, even Tomica

Really nice tutorial and especially since your using a minigt opposed to your standard Hotwheels/matchbox because everyone does those ones lol love the wheel choice as well on both the r34 and chaser! Thanks for sharing man! 😎👍🏻👊🏻

Thank You Jake! The BNDS wheels work great on those brands. If I could figure out how to fully customize collector grade brands, I might leave Hotwheels completely lol

You think I could use the axles the car comes with but add the new wheels ?

The issue you will have using the axles the wheels come on is length and size (diameter) of the stock axle. It would probably work with the BNDS wheels used in the video, but when you order those wheels they will come with replacement axles.
