I think it’s because we’ve got a better idea on what foods are good for us and how exercise benefits our health long-term. I think it’s kind of cool, because you really can see a difference between people who are 50+ now versus say the 1860s.

Yup, nothung happened as planned for my son's birth. My water was broken by the doctor at the hospital with a probe that looks like a giant crochet needle or something. Then I had contractions for 48 hours before they finally called it and I have birth via Cesarean section. Then my son had a pneumothorax and had to be helicoptered to another hospital that had a higher level NICU, all while my MIL lingered and intruded in the precious time I was in the same hospital as my newborn son. I was supposed to go see him in the NICU in our hospital but she was like, can granny come? I was so tired and drugged up I didn't have the energy to argue so I just turned and cried and she went with my husband to see my baby before me. Fun times, super romantic.
If I had a friend like Jennifer Garner who said that, I would freak out and be like “MY FRIENDS ARE FAKING PLEASE SOMEBODY TELL ME THE TRUTH I’M SCARED”
