Video concept: you build a duplex with two identical floor plans. You then each take turns decorating one of them separately. Then, once your both finished you get to look at the others and see how different your styles are
This gives me the vibes of the sort of house that was built by some now-aging rockstar back in his prime, and its beautifully maintained but like the crustiest guy ever actually lives there. Like from the dumb shape, to the almost-70s-conversation-pit, the recording studio, the pool and bar... its amazing, and I love it so much
this screams rich LA minimalist (wood obsessed but prefers to be called a 'wood connoisseur') and I am so here for it. Am probably gonna make this a reference for my future home. You guys are so great!
For anyone curious, here’s a list of the terms for the parts of a guitar! Body - the large round part Bridge - the place where the strings connect on the body Sound hole - the big hole on the body Neck - the long part Fretboard/ fingerboard - the top flat part of the neck Head - the place at the end of the neck with the tuning pegs Tuning pegs - the little nobs usually on the side of the head ( in the video there are just the things the strings go around, I’m not really sure what those are called)
I’d love to see an accessible build - ramps, clear sight-lines for signers, lowered appliances, wider hallways/bathrooms for wheelchair users, etc. I think it would be a fun and interesting challenge for you!
I dont think it would be possible without tool mod, but it sounds so intresting! It might sound weird but i always wanted to see disablities in the sims- sign langauge, disable parcking, blindguy canes, walking canes. Its just things you see in everyday life but you rarly see in life simulators for some reason

Imagine being able to add a death in the sims where you get run over by a wheelchair user for that sims chaos or having hooks for amputations or even designed wheelchairs. Sunflower or daisy lanyards, ear defenders and more! That would be cool. As I’m autistic I would love to see ear defenders (I use them) and those little Lego looking bite toys because my niece uses those. It would be super fun. And it could add more customisation to dogs, having their relationship to their owner be service dog and you could set it to panic attacks, blindness etc as their job and you could train the dog and have a new interaction where you berate someone for disturbing your dog while they’re working.

I agree , I think the entry hallway could've had something like a piece of wall art or a signed poster / shirt or something. I'm imagining the person who lives here would be a super rich musician who maybe collects merch from other famous musicians from the past. also idk if this is an option in the sims but imagine if the hallway had warm floor spotlights instead of overhead lighting.. the Drama
Challenge I came up with!: it’s a duplicate challenge, whenever you use an item in a room (other then appliances, if you want you can) but for example if you use a plant that plant has to be in every room going forward. This sounds difficult to me, I’d like to see you try! 😊
Ooh or they have to have 2 of every single item you put down like they can have like a basement kitchen/ bar or something to help with the duplicate appliances

I like the concept of the guitar room/music room, what I thnk would've been funny is a kid's room and the kid was banished to the head of the guitar so they have to walk the long hallway to use the bathroom

I love that the music room is down that hallway bc it's a practical solution for the amount of noise, being cordoned off to sort of isolate it and allow anyone in the house good sleep while the musician works through the night
I think this is my favorite design I've ever seen in the sims? Like ever, not just of your builds. It's absolutely stunning and modern and simple and the use of tool mod means I can actually use it myself without having to go buy cc which is nice, but it looks like cc was used. Incredible, 10/20!!
For the light above the bed I feel like adding different sized circles lights around the light would be so cute ( with the same light that is already there if possible )

I have a hack for you guys that might be a kitchen game-changer, it's for the trash can! Take a dishwasher and place it on a counter but size it down three or four times, until it's pretty small. This leaves a space under a countertop for you to shove a trash can! You can apply this to other rooms too like a laundry room or a dining hutch or bathroom, and try other items underneath. Pretty sure (not 100% tho) that the countertop is still usable for the sims. Love your content, I hope you see this!

The skylight is GORGEOUS. Love the concept! The music room and the stage outside were so much fun too. If I moved in, I would definitely knock a bunch of half windows in tothe bathroom so I could have a view while in the bath (and also give the shower plant some sun)!

Its even nicer that the living room is a lot more distant away from the studio, so that no guests will be disturbed.

the tables you chose at 21:55 definitely fit better overall but the one on the right kinda looked like a vinyl and it was just perfect
