Richie is a brilliant musician and was a reflection of the greatness that was Bon Jovi. He was the heart of that band him and Jon their bond it was incredible. I really miss their collaborations together.

Richie was and is one of my biggest guitar influence besides elvis presley. He did it always good. When he left bon jovi it was a deep break. Because every time you saw bon jovi, the two guys Jon and Richie have made much of the songs, the show. It changed a lot in my view of the things. But I am thankful I saw them working together a couple of times and I also like Richies music that always brought the blues in it.

@@mikedavis8008 Absolutely right. He had his own songwriter. In my opinion it would never be the same if I would let other people write my own songs. But he was damn good to perform it in his unique way. He was the first musician ever who let hear a gospel song in a time I didn't understand was he was meaning. But his gospels was giving me something special.

It's been nine years! Richie abandoned group during 2013 tour and beyond Hall of Fame appearance he hasn't shown us any signs he wants to come back. As far as the group is concerned I the best thing they can do is go the Beatles route and just stick with recording new material.

I've been a Bon Jovi fan for 37 years, and miss that bond between Jon and Richie. But Richie chose to leave the band, due to personal reasons. His addictions became a problem and Jon and the band were always supportive during his rehab days. His family, daughter Ava, another reason why he decided to leave the band. No hard feelings. Family comes first, but Bon Jovi had to move on, with or without him. Wish him well. Phill X has been his back up since his hard times, and replacement after he left permanently in 2013. Every band has their turmoils, but still survive. I will forever love Bon Jovi. Ultimately, Jon is the headliner. Without Jon, there's NO Bon Jovi. =)

Probably will end up playing a few theaters here and there and drinking his Bon Jovi royalties away... We all know how this will end up.
You want to waste your money going to see Jon talk instead of sing lines, completely off key, and watch his journeymen band pretending to enjoy themselves when we all know they are cringing with embarrassment at Jon's ridiculous vocals, feel free I'm not stopping you.
