I had figured out that gender in Ukrainian language related to word endings, but couldn't work out the details. Thank you so much for the clear explanation.
Доброго дня, пані Інна, чи не могли б ви поговорити про реальне життя? про школу, ринок, прогулянку в парку, зустріч з новими друзями..з уповільненим відтворенням вимови..
Good morning Inna. Another excellent video! I ordered my Ukrainian Cases textbook yesterday :) I hope the war is over before i have mastered the language, if you know what i mean. Stay safe xx
Interesting. :) Unfortunately there were a few words I didn't quite catch. Could you please tell me the two words you said around 1:27? ("The Ukrainian noun has gender. Also, it can be [???] and [???] and it also has cases..."). Thanks!
I myself, am Ukrainian. I was born in Ukraine, but moved to America when I was quite young, and never got to learn the language. I've always wanted to learn the language, and after this stupid war is over I will move back to Kyiv. If i could say one thing, it would be дякую.
Articles in English are difficult??? Then learn German! 🇩🇪 We have definite and indefinite articles for three genders and we also decline them. 😜 For this, there are only four cases in German and not seven. I am very happy to be a native speaker. 😂
Oh my. This explains soooo much! Great job explaining this.
Thanks
As an English speaker who spent years learning French, I almost cried when I saw how sensible Ukrainian gender is (so far!)

Дуже дякую! Very helpful. Only the music is distracting.
This is kind of similar in Spanish… The rules seem straight forward enough and fairly simple, but the exceptions are going to be a tough cookie…

EightsOver A noun can be animated and inanimated. For example, мама (a mother) is an animated noun and стіл (a table) is an inanimated noun.
@@SpeakUkrainian Thank you!
EightsOver Будь ласка🙏🏻
Дуже дякую, Інна. But what about a word like "ім'я"? Or do you consider the "м" and the apostrophe together as a double consonant?
🌺🌊🌟
privit Inna //a question to you...Why the two endings finishing in ий..?
