A good friend asked Joseph why he was using crazy glue on something, if it was "traditional". He responded ,"if my ancestors had it they would of used it too." There's more wisdom in that than just about glue. I met him once and gifted him tobacco and met his family. He was kind humble but had a definite presence. He s with papa now.

The story is from his book, "The Lakota Way, stories and lessons for living". This exact recording can also be found on Joseph Marshalls CD which is a collection of six or so stories from his book and has the same title. With a very sad and heavy heart I come to tell you that Mr. Joseph FireCrow has passed to take the journey home to meet his Relations in the after life. His wife Joanne Moore is sadden by this, as she lost her one true love and best friend. So if you wish to pay your respects, I'm sure it would please her. Safe trip Joseph, I'm sorry I didn't have a chance to see you before you left.
