I'd like to make something to pull out if the freezer and pop into the oven with no morning prep. Any chance this would work?
Could I pour the mixture into a cupcake liner in the muffin tin and freeze it then bake it?
It's so small, I think it would bake from frozen for maybe a few extra minutes.
I'm afraid if I bake it first, then freeze, it will be over cooked and dry when I rewarm it to eat. Any suggestions? Jan, in Oklahoma

I think I would try baking it first and then freezing. I typically keep these in the fridge for several days and reheat as needed. They are not at all dry. How long are you planning to store them?

@@SulaandSpice I'd just like to have them on hand. I live with my mom, she's 92 and I'd like something handy in the freezer besides waffles.

@@jcristi321 It's worth a try. Do you have silicone molds? It might be an easier way to form them, rather than a paper liner. You could freeze the bites in the mold and then pop them out once frozen for longer storage.
