Thanks for bringing Aston Utan to the show. I love his passion for the business and coffee industry, and dude is always generous in sharing his knowledge on his IG. I followed CG from its first store and it’s so encouraging to see their growth. Keep up the great podcast episodes, Ray!
Great, very educational podcast, well done for the success, Aston, Daryanto, Yoshua, & Common Grounds, & Ray Janson. Smart & hard work does pay off. It would've however been also interesting to have discussed the white elephant in the room of the factors of money & influence in making the success more possible to achieve. (I'm aware that without the smart & hard work, those two factors would mean nothing). And what's with the use of "f***ing" and "shit" in almost every sentence? Even Gordon Ramsay doesn't swear that much. It doesn't sound authentic and it doesn't reflect the Indonesian / Asian values. (My apology for the directness, as it isn't my intention to troll with these comments - I also swear from time to time, but I've learnt that it's important to be very selective in using those words).
