I just finished rereading my novel from the series i will write the next book in 😊 it's so fun to read my own work even though I was scared to do it at first 😂 glad i did it.
I always love your videos. I have been watching you for about 8 months now and I love your content. In fact after finding your channel I decided to participate in nanowrimo this year! Good luck with your project reread! Edit: Also, is anyone else shook by how beautiful Vee's handwriting is?
ahh i love this vlog! i've never written a proper novel or draft before, kinda new to the writing community but i really want to participate in this year's nano and preptober bc its seems so fun! i'm currently planning on a ya romance and i'm already so in love with all the characters haha
Ahhh 🤗 yes, I’m participating in Preptober. I’m working on an in-depth outline, solidifying the timeline, and some more character work! Maybe writing some backstory scenes…So I can be ready to write the first draft of my novel in November!!
Eeee i love preptober!! Can't wait to see the rest of this series xx I'm working on a YA contemporary romance ft lost friendship/almost love, a LI who has been secretly in love w the mc for years, and told in dual timelines!
I love this video oh so much! Ahhhh! Can’t wait to see your book on shelves some day! So proud of you! Definitely inspired me to get my but into gear 😂💕👏🏼
hi vee! i LOVE ur writing videos !! i am participating too, well me and my mom together! i am still in high school and i am a very new writer! i am also writing a YA romance book. i have so many ideas so im taking the next month to get them together, plan chapters, etc. your videos are super inspiring!
I loved this video, I am so close to being done my 80k novel and seeing you go over a printed copy really inspired to try and finish mine. Thank you. Also, i love how you talked about how reading over certain scenes can be so cringy sometimes, i get that so much with my own writing (as a teen writer it's sometimes really cringy subpar writing on my part.) Awesome video, cant wait for the next one!💕
hey alan :) i'm definitely planning on publishing project soulmates but it's not ready for publication at this moment haha. thank you for your support tho😊
I don't like coffee, so I might look into that product you showed 👀 didn't really catch what it was tho (I'll rewatch that portion of the video later no worries). I always get worried when trying new things like that; my mom is a super health freak and she thinks medications and vitamins make our bodies lazy and Yada Yada Yada. I know nothing she says makes sense, but some of her paranoia rubbed on me! You seem to be off to a great start with prep preptober ☺️ hope everything continues to go smoothly!
my mom is the same way sometimes when it comes to using medication for common colds and such ahaha😅 these productivity shots have great ingredients though and they're really natural! thank you!! i hope your writing projects, if you have any, are coming along nicely as well🤗
What did you use the tabs for, and what kind are they? Ik you had a highlight system for Worldbuilding, characters, etc. but I’m sooo curious how you made use of the tabs too
i matched the tab color to highlighter color and would tab the places in my manuscript that corresponded to the sections i highlighted on my first page. for example blue denoted “word conflict issues” and anywhere in my novel where i saw an area with a world conflict issue i would highlight it in blue and then use the blue tab to know where to find it
this may be like a really dumb question but is project soulmates the title of your novel or are you just calling it project soulmates? I know a lot of authortube people call their wips some version of Project *blank* but I can never tell! Project soulmates sounds like a fun title for a book!
not dumb at all i've gotten asked that a few times ahaha. a name still hasn't come to me that i feel like is a perfect fit for this novel so "soulmates" is the filler for now and 'project' isn't a part of it although i've also had someone mention 'project soulmates' in its entirety would make for a good title LOL
i went to a company called staples and paid to print out my document! i printed the copy that my alpha reader sent which had her comments in the document. let me know if that helps!
@@sincerelyvee oh I thought it was more complicated, like a different file format for printing or something lol. Thank you very much. Just found you and greatly enjoy your energy and outlook on writing
I‘m currently working on plotting out my novel and I‘m so freaking excited to start writing it. It’s gonna be my first time ever to try and take part at nanowrimo. I really hope that i‘ll be able to reach 50k words!! ❤

It was so interesting to hear how your perception of time in your novel changed during the re-read! Can't wait to be in that stage :)

how much did it cost for you to get P.S. printed? when I went to print mine the cheapest version was upwards of fifty USD!
mine was just shy of $60 CAD and i had about 120 double-sided pages!!
I need to learn how she printed off her alpha readers notes lol
