@@adriandelgado896Nah. The situation is so similar to what Wilson had in Seattle early in his career. An elite defense along with a run first ball control offense. Last season the Steelers three QB's combined for a whopping 13 TD passes and still made the playoffs. Wilson had 26 in Denver. If the Steelers could get that they could probabaly win the Super Bowl. Steelers have way better talent on offense than Broncos had. Better receivers. Better run game.

If you’re not excited about this move, you’re not aware of Pittsburgh Steelers football. I believe we have Russell Wilson these last two years, we have a very different ending to each other the last two seasons. He’s gonna come in and win. We win regardless, but with a guy like Russ, we could really see us get back to our old ways. He fits the scheme, he wants to throw it deep off play action & he wants to pound the rock. THATS HOW WE PLAY. 10/10 move by the khan artist.

Exactly. I'm not excited at all. He's a 36 year old quarterback on the decline and according to many of his former teammates, not a very good locker room leader. I don't see the game benefit, just a financial benefit which gets you no closer to the Superbowl.

Honestly, I like your solid take on all points. Typically I would debate a point or two, but, you were spot on from an abstract point of view. I haven't given up on KP and I hope KP doesn't give up on the team. I think Russel can be for KP what Ben shoud have been for Mason, but I'll keep my opinion to myself there because you played on the team, I didn't. I don't think Mason has ever been bad either, but he never got a real opportunity. Then with KP, Matt Canada was like playing Madden on Rookie. The Oline didn't improve until Jones stepped in and KP got beat up with an offense that had no vet leaders at all. This team is dying for a veteran leader presence on offense. I can't imagine being a rookie and 2nd year player handed the keys to the Pittsburgh Steelers of all teams, with an OC who would just set you up for failure. It's hard to grow in that type of environment. Cheers to Russ, and the team and Good luck to both KP and Russ. I don't really care who the QB is, as long as they start winning in the playoffs.
