Those female threaded holes are for an iPad holder in the UK, I had a custom aluminum mount made for an x1 mk2 for Mac use during gigs for more fx controls, but I’m using an older iPad in hopes of practicing some on the go with Traktor 2 and my s2 mk3 with my Bluetooth speaker
The Traktor App is weird. Every time I want to set a precise cue point it seems to not want to go there either it goes in front or behind the point I want. Can’t figure it out. Any help would be appreciated if you understand what I mean.
My jog wheels wobble a little also. I think that is just the way they made the controller. I like the my Traktor S2, only around $300-$329 and you get the Traktor DJ software free.

I connected the usb out of the controller to a multi adapter to my iPad(which also had power). I opened up iDjay on the iPad. Then when l powered up the S2 mk3 l held down the “flx” button… This puts the controller in “MIDI MODE” to use with other software. In regular mode it needs the proprietary software to function or it will flash the nothing.

Haven't tried it in the Traktor iPad app but the same thing happens in the Traktor computer app when snapping to the grid is on.

Yup, I agree, not fun having to do that trick just to get it into midi mode to work with Deejay for iOS.
But traktor controllers are the only ones that work with iOS devices isn’t it?
