    Another way to look at the title - have you ever heard the phrase: "Pull the wool over your eyes" in terms of silo? Very fitting.

      Oooh right! Some idiomatic things still escape me. I knew this one but I didn’t think of it.
      Note: in Italy, I swear, we say the same thing but with “ham slices” instead of wool ahah

    Yes it’s a great start and I was quickly hooked. While I wanted to know what the mystery was, it also had pathos.

      Exactly! Makes you want to rush to the end, but you also want to savor it. I found the pace to be just right.
