Thank you Matthew. I’m singing this cycle tomorrow and you have not idea how much your recordings have helped me to practice and memorize. Thank you so much!!! ❤
Thank you Matthew! I am preparing this song for graduation and it helped me a lot. This was wonderful, every breath, ritenuto, accelerando and the rest was on the point. Other videos that I saw are not accurate. Thanks🌷💯
I have already commented on the performance of another song. Today I found an interesting detail. It concerns the fingering, that is the change of 4 and 5 when playing the chords. I will try it immediately. Today I have piano lesson and in two days I have to perform at recital :) (BTW, the sound is beautiful, but the sound on my piano is better :) :) :) I have two Bösendorfer, and the big one is 110 years old and is a fantastic grand which has been confirmed by some famous pianists already.
I think the changing of fingering helps me keep the travelling notion as a phrase, and more linier than repeating the note. This was a nice piano to play, but unfortunately RUclips compresses the sound significantly. I would love to own a personal Steinway - then I could maintain the quality of my recordings on RUclips. But I also like Bösendorfer.
So wonderful!!❤
🥰thank you!!
