I'm positive about such changes in the story ,these changes are necessary so that roshi's character arc develops and she becomes mature because acting like a mother to mohid after marriage needs a very mature behaviour,talha's reasons to keep roshi and mohid not too much involved are 100 percent valid you can't find any flaws in his conclusion because he can't think of a mature and responsible girl in her for now who will share mohid's responsibilities with him considering that even sabeeka being his family friend for so long can't take it
She can always be a sister to Mohid what is the need to be a mother as she is only 19 and Mohid is 8. It is not always necessary for a person to become mother to love a child like her own
