I prefer the IMSA Radio coverage more than NBC's. Commentators know more about the sport and they have have better reactions to what is going on, especially crashes. NBC's are so regulated to a script that they are totally thrown out of sorts when the races happens.
during morning warm up, there was a little girl and her dad at the Canadian Tire bridge near the end of the back straight... he was trying to show her each of the different cars and she seemed to not really give a shit... Then Rexy came by and she was so fucking stoked to see a dino car!!! it made her a race fan instantly and for that alone it is a great car and fantastic team!
Engine noise can be a bit louder in my opinion, but very good quality nonetheless. Edit: A little more coverage for GTD classes won't hurt btw. IMSA remains one of my favorite motorsport titles of them all. So much action, and I have to say I prefer some US tracks over EU ones.
@lavishmctavish4905 same most european designed tracks are a bit narrow & full of sharp turns, slow flowing north american tracks r wide, fast flowing, curved turns (even sharp turns in north american tracks r good👍 cos of track width), track limits doesn’t matter much
I'm At A Truck Stop In North Georgia , With The NASCAR Race Postpone Until Tomorrow I Had Nothing To Watch Or Listening To Motor Racing Wise , So I Just Happened To Go To You Tube & I Came Upon This And Glad I Did Because This Has Been A Fun & Entertaining Race To Watch ... Pulling For Those Cadillacs & Again This Is Just Cool To Watch 👍✌️
First time i follow the IMSA championship. But for sure is not going to be the last season. Thank you IMSA for putting races for free. And for the great commentary
I was at Sebring, Spa and Monza for the WEC this year. And apart from the race itself, which was great, I can't recommend going to Monza as a fan. This year was really special if you like so^^ The highlight was getting thrown out off the campingground together with all the other people there at 21:30 on Saturday evening! Because the camping ground was closed. Bathrooms and toilets didn't work there so we asked already on Friday if its still okay to be here and several people told us that it would be. They even did turns to check on everything. So on Friday it was okay still. At 21:30 on Saturday security came and gave everyone 30 mins to pack everything before Police would come because we are not allowed to stay^^ so they threw out all the fans the night before the race and not politly. So yeah find a place to sleep at that time^^ Also on most grandstands there had no sun protection at all, because they have removed them. But the grandstands are built from metal so yeah you sit in an oven (it had 38°C on Sunday). Some did get blisters from the grandstands itself. Several people collapsed. Of course that was due to the weather but why removing the shade?^^ Plus the usual Monza... A lot of standing in lines for basic needs. I'm cheerful we go to Imola next time. Seems like Monza doesn't like its fans^^
Interesting that the 7 Porsche got boxed in by the 6 in the pits. I remember back in the Acura days, a point was made that Penske separated their pit boxes, presumably to avoid this exact scenario. I wonder what changed?
Anybody from Mosport watching this maybe thinking about a change to that grass before Turn 8 into some other surface? That cadillac was a perfectly functioning racecar, there is no brake failure there. Yet... he gets to fly into the wall at top speed? That strip of grass does not help the racing excitement like it does on the outside of curves to deter drivers from going off. Let's pave that with cheap asphalt or install some gravel, we are asking for injuries with no tangible benefit here.
@@zmohr1283 I remember when people complained about Fox not covering the entire 24 hours of the Rolex 24 until the next morning and now that NBC pretty much covers the whole race it's all complaints. Pfft

copy that.
Thanks
thanks for listening to your fans once again (although I liked the video without watching because I saw the live broadcast lol)
Thanks for the full replay!

John Hindhaugh is the best, THE guy for the job in sportscar racing commentary.
Thank you IMSA for having posted this great race. I remember the Mosport circuit since the 60s (Can-Am, Trans-Am & F1). Cheers from Milan & Monza

The other video was fine to me, but here's another thumbs up like for my favorite racing provider 💪🏆
Love John hindhaughs commentating
You should camp at the track and wake up to him speaking and the V8s thundering at 8am. Best morning wake up EVER.

Damn! My Cadillacs just can’t get a break. Congrats to Chevy, though. 🏆
Do you have 1080 p quality ?
Our production team's standard is 720p. Apologies for any inconvenience.

good luck for corvette
For those that were there, do we get parking with our sunday tickets?

A lot of dirty reckless drivers in this race. smh
at least next year will full HD 60 fps be available?
Please drop NBC
If they did that a lot of the money they make, they would loose, because NBC pays imsa to cover every race

Could BMW win championship what a story that would be.
@IMSA_Official This was uploaded twice it seems, there's two different videos of the same broadcast in the playlist!
The second broadcast is unlisted as there was an audio issue. Thank you.
Don't get why they focus so much on the GTP during the coverage. I would much rather watch the GT cars.
