Floyd Cramer I believe was one of the most talented musicians the world has ever scene. Cramer developed a piano style that ROCKED the world. A style that polishes the lens of ones soul.
Cramer developed the "slip-note" style on piano, what we hear in this song and the now famous "Last Dance." Slip note can be likened to the slide guitar technique which used a half-tone slide. Not claiming Cramer's slip-note style has not been replicated the way Cramer played it, nonetheless, I've never heard anyone use that style with Cramer's perfection. I have heard others approximate Cramer's technique (Doug Smith, "West Texas", an outstanding western pianist), however, those attempts usually result in succeeding notes or chords played separately (almost simultaneously as Cramer's slip-note but the notes/chords still played separately when you listen closely). This tune was the first recording where Cramer's slip-note was heard.

Yes, the tune does match your pictures which, like the tune, are beautiful. I love listening to it over and over and Floyd Cramer's style on the piano is so beautiful. I am a fan from🇬🇧 and listen to his music on RUclips.
