Stranger on Moscow isn’t quite a metaphor. He was in Moscow when the allegations first surfaced. The most harrowing line on this is ‘take my name just let me be’.
Michael Jordan and Michael Jackson, arguably the two biggest stars on the planet at the time, coming together like that was absolutely insane and monumental at the time. Something that would have totally "broken the internet" if something like that happened today. Also RIP Chris Kelly and Heavy D.
Only Americans really say this. Michael Jordan wasnt really adored and admired outside of USA tbh. Don't understand why people always say this. Yes he was known but he wasn't Uber famous like MJ.
@@ayaanbretmitchell9830 He was a big deal for people who enjoy basketball. It's no different than how what we call soccer is football outside the US. Football is huge everywhere but in the US. "Football" is huge outside the US. Nonetheless, the point is that they were 2 very wealthy and famous black men in their industries who came together in a video and it was a BIG DEAL. As a black American, it was a HUGE deal in a way that those who aren't black or American would not have understood at the time. I think the context for how HUGE both Michael was for the black community is lost on the younger generation and for those who are international fans. I always have to tell young people what things were really like at that time. There was still plenty of racism in the US. It wasn't easy to get to the status that either of them were. I think alot of young people now take it for granted that things were like they are now. They weren't. I had to deal with plenty of racism at work, especially in the 1990s and 2000s. Kids today have NO clue.
@@lisacox3750 Well yeh if you like basketball then you'll know Michael Jordan. My point is that a few people have commented that Jordan was as big as MJ in their primes and it just isn't true. If you weren't into basketball then you'd never know who Michael Jordan was. MJ crossed all demographic and genres etc etc. Everyone knew who he was. Everyone keeps comparing MJs fame level with people of today and it won't happen. I grew up in 80s and he was massive. Absolutely massive. To summarise your last statement I would say there's more racism these days then ever before. I think one movement has to be blamed for that.
The black man in the window (mirror) is his projection of what he would have been. Stranger in Moscow is a masterpiece from what I consider the greatest ever artist.
I absolutely Love Stranger In Moscow im a huge Michael Jackson Fan always have been always will be. His Music helped get through some dark times when i was still in the closet and after I came Out as Gay in 7th grade September of 1990 i faced bullying both verbal and Physical at school and youth group at church.

Thank you for your reaction to these videos! Yes, Liberian Girl is such a gem, please listen to it without all the celebs talking over it lol. Also, as a looongtime Michael Jackson fan, I apologize for us fans sometimes being a bit "rude" or shall I say protective. It is perfectly okay if you do not know every MJ song and / or video or every MJ fact. 😅😅 Don´t be afraid to ask questions. Also, I think some stans/fans are just jealous that you get the pleasure to discover some of Michael´s songs / videos for the very first time. 😂😂Keep the good work up! Greetings from Germany
Great reaction! Michael Jackson was such an amazing singer, dancer, and performer. I’m very happy you reacted to Stranger in Moscow as that’s one of my favorites. It’s such a beautiful song.
Michael had so many great songs and videos and entertained multiple generations. Probably one of the most famous artists ever. Thx for sharing your reaction.
Michael will always be the voice of the people.. ALL people. It was evident in the way they tried to drag his name through the mud in the media.. but we all know better. The world got a little darker when he passed .. Gone but never forgotten
I've never seen Liberian Girl, only heard the song, which is so melodic and soothing. I had no idea there were so many cameos. All those folks were like A list celebs during the time. I'm like, WOW, all that talent in one music video. As usual awesome review!
Stranger in Moscow is one of my favorite songs. I agree with you saying his vocals are so Crystal clear and that's one of the things I love about it aside from the percussion. I feel like it's a work of art and the video matches it so well. It's stunning. Jam is a song that just makes me so happy. Great video. Liberian Girl is another favorite gorgeous song of mine. Ton of celebrities and the ending is great! Ah yes. They don't care about us. I love both videos. But the Brazilian one just warms my heart. I love seeing him with the people and just out and about enjoying the rhythm. I wish you would've seen the extended version with the drums just going off! Gives me goosebumps! 💕👍
In Jam you're watching some big names: Basketball player Michael Jordan, rapper Heavy D and young rap duo Kris Kross. Michael played Jam as openings song for the Dangerous tour. LJ
You can never go wrong with Michael Jackson! And looky here, you introduced me to one I've never heard before lol...the Moscow one, and I love it! Good stuff! Thanks for all you bring to your reactions! You're so great!❣️ Happy Holidays!🌟
At Stranger in Moscow it's actually MJ beat boxing in the background. And he was in Moscow. He wrote it alone in a hotelroom during the Dangerous tour in 1993. LJ

I appreciate your Reactions To Michael Jackson, Please React to More Michael, I Really Loved this Video it is not like the others where they Cut and edit things out from the Songs, I Loved how you actually took the time to listen to the songs fully and gave feedback as well, Really Enjoyed it thank you
Stranger in Moscow your fave? Me and you both Bryson. I know when you get a chance to listen to the audio with your eyes closed you're gonna be covered in chills (it happens to me EVERY time). There are some behind the scenes clips floating around RUclips that shows the making of the music video, you should check those out as well. Great reaction!!! Please react to MJ - "Butterflies" (no M/V but the song is beautiful) and "Off the Wall." *Stranger in Moscow* | the sixth and final single worldwide from MJ's ninth album, HIStory (1995); he wrote and produced it himself. The song charted highly in the top 10 of numerous music charts globally, but it only peaked at #91 on the Hot 100, becoming MJ's lowest peaking on the chart.
Another great reaction video, I have heard all of those songs before but never seen any of those videos, I think the visual element of MJ's ART was as important as the music! Thank you...
Love watching reaction videos and happy seeing people loving his music. I am a Michael Jackson fan since I was 20 but known of him since 2005. First heard his song thriller in 1998 but I didn't know who he was at the time. I'm also a Michael Jordan fan and I love basketball.
I love your reactions but I have to correct you a little bit ;-). "Stranger In Moscow" was written by Michael in a hotel room in Moscow in September 1993, while on the Dangerous World Tour stop in Moscow. I prefer the prison version of "They Don't Care About Us". I love Michael defiantly dancing and singing in prison surrounded by historic footage of violence committed by governments against their own people.
When you look at Michael's music in perspective today, it doesn't compare to what he represented at the time. I'll give you some context, when the video clips were presented as world premieres, a whole advertising campaign was made, for example: This Saturday at 8 PM, Michael Jackson's new video for the album History. And all of us were waiting for the moment, and that space was sponsored by brands like Pepsi, perfumes, detergents, etc. In particular, "They don't care about us," they put on the extended version, what a wonderful moment, we screamed, laughed, when he fell and a lady knocked him down, we oooo look at Michael Jackson in jeans, and of course the next day, people were talking about behind the scenes, the lenses, the jeans, the place, etc. That was like that since I can remember the Dangerous, History era, but not for Blood on the Dance Floors because everything was changing, the Internet began to penetrate society. What beautiful moments.
All my favorite michael videos ..darn it i love all his videos even the Jackson 5 days .and i was 8 in 83 my first song by him was billy jean at that time and i loved him every since he was a angel on earth now a angel with the most high 🕊️💙🤍 the brazil cersion i live it he got all the hebrews in it one of the scattered tribes🕎
This song is distinctly depressing to me because I first heard it in college during a time I was dealing with loneliness and depression. That said, I do love the song though.
You should search RUclips for Michael Jackson's "The Making of" videos. There is one for this song, among many others. It's a window to everything that went on during the making of the video: the director, production, locations, and sets. The making of, "Stranger in Moscow" was hard on him, you can see it in the making of this video.
An interesting artist, amazing singer and so good with the younger fans. In so many different ways. A man of so many colours. Literary speaking. We all still wonder what really happened with his nose that day. A thriller so to speak.
the most impactful thing out of all of theese videos,is surely the Brazilian drummers in they dont really care about us. That song is not the same in other versions,it has to be with the drummers for me to actually listen to it. I was much more into MJs songs as a kid,but i think i grew out of it. I was and still consider myself more of a Prince supporter, even Janet Jackson over MJ. I feel like she has better overall songs then him, although he has more "hits". Not trying to talk MJ down,i listened to him ALOT as a kid. But somehow i grew out of it,but not with all of his songs. I still like Beat It ,Human Nature, Give In To Me (Because Slash from Guns n Roses collabs with MJ), Dirty Diana and Smooth Criminal is still good songs. I just dont go out of my way to listen to him today.
