Thank you so much for the comment! I will post the link to the editing video in the description, you can find my editing process in the playlist! Stay tuned for some more videos to be posted soon!
Hi and thank you very much for the comment! Yes there is a video in the series where I show my editing process for this shoot which you can find in the playlist. With my lights being very basic, it does take a little tweeking, but I found that if you have some space behind your subject which is not affected by the lights itself, I increased my F-stop to darken the unlit areas in camera. I hope this helps? I will be posting videos again shortly so stay tuned!
Nice video was great seeing the BTS. I have my first paid gym/fitness shoot coming up. Kind of nervous. Won't be shooting with any off-camera flashes just natural light and a 2.8 lens. Any tips or recommendations going into it?
That's awesome man! Good Luck! My favourite is to get the model to do some movement. Catching them in a lunge or whilst holding DBs or doing an exercise. With natural light having them angled at 45° from the source (window / sun etc) will give the muscles some nice definition etc.
I think at the time I wanted to show my process on how to take fitness photos, next time I'll definitely explain a bit better! Thanks for the feedback, Rob. Have a good evening💪
I enjoyed the but its the process you used for your final photos that I'm interested in.

All that with a canon 70D camera and lenses/lightning, truly insane what you can do well done
Thank you so much! Some more videos will be uploaded shortly so stay tuned for the channel revival!
would you mind sharing the editing process? i assume just 1 umbrella light could not provide that depth and dimension you got in these photos?

Hi! This was shot on the Tamron 18 - 300 mm and the Canon 50mm f1.8. So you can get great results with very budget friendly gear.
