I agree that O'Malley 's Episcopal stewardship over the Church - especially in its liturgical presentation, its guardianship over St. John's Seminary in Boston where the reek of clerical abuse first arose 20 years ago (when I founded the Boston Catholic Journal), its oversight of Religious Education (non-existent or complicit with Cathechism understood as nescience), and its absolute and utter failure to retain and maintain the "Catholicism" in its now nominally "Catholic" Colleges - has been not "dismal", but *derelict.* It is little wonder that Jorge included him in his "inner circle" in Rome. May our new archbishop be the man that O'Malley refused to be. Custodiat te Deus

I know of only one cardinal, Raymond Burke, and only 16 bishops who walk in the shoes of the fishermen, the holy Apostles. That is 3.2% … The rest are Modernists, and/or heretics - or have lost their Catholic faith altogether, and have gone away of Protestantism. One Bishop, in particular, Joseph, Strickland, and one Archbishop,Carlo Maria Viganò, eminent among these few holy and faithful men we have not traded Christ for the world.
