I am a MASSIVE Hendrix fan and I can't stand listening to other guitarists playing his music. They just don't get it right... Randy on the other hand - WOW!!! If you close your eyes, you'd swear it was Jimi.

I’ve played in bands since I was 15 (I’m 60) and have seen then them come and go. Hendrix players, Elvis impersonators, etc. and I’ll give this man his due props. He has worked hard, right down to the little things. He’s the best I’ve seen.

Randy was playing at a club so I dropped some acid (I was in my 30's at the time, now I'm in my 60's) and there were times he was playing Hendrix songs note for note less than a foot from me. I was tripping my ass off and enjoying every moment of it. Hell, I went the next night did the same thing and saw his second show.
The problem I notice watching other guitar players doing Hendrix is they don't nail down Hendrix's rhythm techniques. They want to get to the solo and wild out but the rhythm and those little subtleties get neglected. Mr. Hansen has good rhythm techniques to play Hendrix's music and this song is no easy task to play and sing and insert those lit nuances. Cheers mate 🍺🍺
Of you loved Hendrix, you have to love Randy. He is the living spirit of Jimi Hendrix. Nobody else comes close.

Randy like Always Nails It with this Underrated Masterpiece
The band does a great job on this version of this song. One of the greatest pieces Jimi ever wrote and The Experience recorded. Randy plays it great and captures the spirit and sound very well. The band is great. The effects and sound are done great. He has really thought it out and plays and sings it very well, it is not easy at all, very well done. BRAVO!

I had the honor of opening for Randy in Chico Ca. at Cabo’s around 1978! When I finished I was right at the edge of the stage and he bent down during a song and had me work the whammy bar!!! Super nice guy too. He was really good then….but here….I’m speechless!

Your playing is unreal. I don't understand why people in the U.S. haven't pick up on your music?, or maybe you haven't visited the EAST COAST with it. Doesn't matter where and when you play it, It's sounds up to date. remember..... Hendrix started his first gig in Washington D.C. and from there it spread like wildfire. I seen it happen. One of the first things that stands out to me - Randy Hansen is right-handed, but plays a left-handed guitar strung for the right hand, vis-a-vis ‘upside down.’ Now THAT is attention to DETAIL.
