Wow that looks like such a good experience. I honestly never saw any footage or photos of fuji from on the mountain, I had no idea it was so grand! On a scale of 1-10, how worth it would you say that whole trip was?
It would have to be a 10/10. if you start just before sunset and make it to the top for sunrise, it is genuinely unbelievable. We have never seen such beautiful scenery. The walking it tough but definitely worth the hike. It's one of those things you just have to do if you're in Japan
私は英語が解りませんが素敵なビデオ有難うございます I don't understand English, but thank you for the wonderful video. 👍 Japanese people like 🗻Mt. Fuji 🌸Sakura 👘Kimono 🚅Shinkansen 🤗😁
Thank you! We did see a lot more people coming up in the day time. I think on the Yoshida trail which is more popular many people climb at night too, from videos we’ve seen before it’s usually very very busy even at night!
We mainly use the Canon M50 (Kiss EOS in Japan), but we also used our phones for this one as we didnt want to have to keep getting the camera out and putting it away again!
We didn't make a reservation, but I would definitely recommend making one. As we climbed during covid there were no tourists and far fewer Japanese climbers so it was much less busy
Came across your channel by chance whilst checking out Fuji videos and it was a lot of fun 👌🏼This is top of my bucket list and to get a stick too as a momento. Have you had any issues having the larger stick with your luggage whilst travelling back to the UK or anywhere else? I know that’s quite a random question haha
Thank you! The walking stick was fine to take back to Kobe from Fuji, and should be fine within Japan. Travelling abroad I think the best thing to do would be to check it in, maybe strap It to your suitcase? I'm sorry I cant be more of a help haha
We tried to sleep but it was so cold outside we mostly wanted to just warm up a bit! We were only in the hut for a couple of hours and i think we only slept for about 10 mins max. But yes, we were back outside and climbing at 2 ish
@@rrynamariano7826 we climbed in the middle of the season, at the end of July. I wouldnt reccommend climbing off season as the huts are closed and there's no infrastructure to help you if something goes wrong!
i climbed to 3,500 with my 12yr old school friends, so as long as youre fairly in shape its not that bad. just let yourself rest at every station so your body properly adjusts to the altitude so you dont get sick
It was a challenging hike, but that was mostly due to us climbing through the night. We were very tired by the end, but it was easily the best experience we've had in Japan

Fantastic! The shadow of Mt. Fuji was clearly visible above the clouds. it's the first time. I appreciate you guys so much.
Thanks so much! We loved seeing the shadow of Mt Fuji too!
Loved the shadow of Mount Fuji moment!

Enjoyed watching your video 😊
Thank you! It was really fun to film this one!
수고하셨습니다!! 잘봤어요😊
you were well done. Fujinomiya trailhead to the top of Mt Fuji is so steeper slope than Yamanashi side(other side) .
Ashley's a trooper! Well done. 👏
Amazing this is great maybe it's the night time aspect that keeps the. Numbers down looks scary in the dark

Wow, you were so lucky with the weather, so beautiful!
Lucky is an understatement! The weather forecast was for rain all week but by some miracle when we arrived the weather had cleared up!
@We Go East the weather is so unpredictable around Fuji. The bulletey climb looked savage, worth it for the view though
Thank you!
Love it
What camera did y’all use to vlog? this was great
We mainly use the Canon M50 (Kiss EOS in Japan), but we also used our phones for this one as we didnt want to have to keep getting the camera out and putting it away again!
Great stuff, well done
Hey.. I really love your colorful backpack.. May I know what's brand it is?? Tq
Thanks! It's from North Face, and we got it in a second hand store (second street)
Did you made a reservation for that places y’all stayed at?
We didn't make a reservation, but I would definitely recommend making one. As we climbed during covid there were no tourists and far fewer Japanese climbers so it was much less busy

Did you sleep on hut? And start trekking again at 2am? Thanks

Did you get all of the stamps while hiking throughout the night?
Sadly not! Some of the stations weren't doing the branding due to covid, but I've heard they are now offering it again!
New Subscriber 😊

You've been going gym recently, reckon you could do it?
@@wegoeast no problems
Challenging nice movie!! Let me share it at Mt. Fuji Fan Club on Facebook, please.
