This is why we should bring back classes like home ec, wood shop and welding in schools. Because I can guarantee that most kids their age wouldn't be able to do this. Self sufficiency training is an absolute must these days.
@hwksfn it's all about control. Those classes taught self-sufficiency and the government hates that. But there are some schools bringing those classes back. The unsurprising thing is that they're all in Republican states.
I don't care that they called screws, nails. I don't care that they're using a hammer or drill to mark where to cut or any of the other things people might complain about or mistakes they're making! Because they're LEARNING & they're OUTSIDE having fun! ❤ This is what I was doing when I was a boy, only we didn't have access to power tools, so we used hand saws, hammers and nails. I'll never forget those days and neither will these boys. Keep doing what you do and don't forget the first air kit! Shout out to "Grandpa" and all their helpers!

This brings back memories. Building a fort with repurposed materials. A few years ago one of my best childhood buddies and me broke out the power tools to repurpose a tilt dirt three bike trailer. Into a single motorcycle trailer with platform. Truck box on each side and in front for storage. These skills remain forever. As do the memories and wonderment of creating something outta scrap materials. And are helpful in everyday problem solving. Well done gentlemen. New subscriber. Boiling hot dogs and ketchup on a board, we are living large! Outstanding observation only the optimism of youth could conceive of. I wish I were their age again. They are living large and I hope in fifty years they can look back and laugh about it as well as savor the fun, comradery and family they had when they were young. Best video of the day for sure.
