I immediately turned to the right at my XP-PEN minitablet I have as a back up for my Wacom like "what the fuck does this have to do with Stamp? Am I missing something?"
@@Danny-mg1hu gotta be honest I was in nostalgia overload with remake that I don't remember hearing it. Now thanks to you I'm on a mission to play remake again
@@LevantineR1 I think that statement by Barret is key to the hinting at Stamp not being originally a tool for Shinra propaganda, rather it was its own thing to start with, but then taken over and then changed to be a child indoctrination tool for a fascist corporation/government.
This song fills me with both determination and hope every time I hear it. Thank god they brought the remake to PC or it may have been years before I heard it!
Yep I recognized the tone when I got close to the neon stamp sign it came flooding back .. first thoughts now ill fighting to get this song out of my head little stamp
I loved the disconnect between the dire situation you were in when you first encounter this jukebox, and just how upbeat and cultish the propaganda song is. So many great moments in Remake.
I get the impression the singer was given the lyrics in transliterated kana. Currently playing through the game with the French dub and this song's lyrics are so hard to make out, especially in-engine, that I thought it had a French version that I couldn't decipher. It doesn't :P
I wonder if it's just an accent thing. Like the French language probably has sounds in it that a Japanese person (without studying) can't pronounce or even perceive as distinct sounds.
Yeah it's obvious that the singer isn't very good at pronouncing English, the lyrics themselves are a bit awkward too. But in some way that actually adds to the charm of the song.
I'm English and the first time I heard this I couldn't make out the lyrics and had to look them up. When I listened to it again I realised why I was struggling; it was because of the unusual pronunciation and the pacing seemed off, like too many words had been squashed into each line. It makes so much sense now if the singer is Japanese. The language lacks the 'L' sound so many Japanese struggle to say it, replacing it with the closest thing which is a soft 'R.' I wonder if they had tried to translate the song verbatim which explains the crowded lines. Japanese can express concepts in fewer words than English, which is quite a wordy language (though certainly not as wordy as French, and I image a French sub would have been very challenging!)
I didn't even know that this song existed until I heard the remix on Rebirth. I heard some of the songs on the jukebox in the first game, just not this one.
I’m am just so baffled on how they took this jukebox song(no offense) that I haven’t even heard in remake and made it into one of the most hype, headbanging arm, swaying battle themes I’ve ever heard in any game ever!
Does anyone know where to find the version of this song that plays in Rebirth? There is a spot in The Gold Saucer where the song plays but I didn't hear it anywhere else and can't find the song online either. And I don't mean the bow wow wow song that plays during the dog escort quest.
Good ole Shinra propaganda. I can't believe I like this. Mostly the beginning the whole song sounds so silly. I play it every jukebox I go to could be a legitimate kids song.
sorry for not related picture

Thank you so much for this song 😌
It's a little unnerving... what's the knife handle and hair about?
Who is the singer??
This song sounds like a 1970s kid’s cartoon tv theme tune. And was absolutely mesmerized by it the moment I heard it play in-game 👍🏼
Same, instant nostalgia
Me too, I stopped and felt like I knew a whole anime I never saw from a time I wasnt even born for.
Same here! it is so cool for a FF game! Should make some good AMV
Care Bears and Pound Puppies
Saaaame
Is anyone here after hearing this in ff7 rebirth. Been in my head for a whole day now
I loved when they played remixes of it for the dog side missions
I'm doing my part
Bow wow wow, Bow wow wow!
Ummmmm the song was present in remake. Did you forget about Remake???
@@Danny-mg1hu gotta be honest I was in nostalgia overload with remake that I don't remember hearing it. Now thanks to you I'm on a mission to play remake again
The remix of this for the Salmon quest. No need to go that hard but they did.
They created the maximum perfect remix of the decade.
The best part of this song is that all your party members will dance to it when there’s a jukebox playing it. Barrett’s got the moves.
idk about that hmmm interesting
Bruh, this song made me reminisce about a childhood that doesn't exist. I can listen to this song and just cradle myself out of life's hecticness.
Berret, i know the planet is dying, and shinra is evil, but counterpoint: Stamp. He's a good boy who never stops
true
I will gladly lay my life down for Shinra and Stamp
Is been a year so go play the game again for shinra. Soldier
Barret hates it, but this song is a legit bop
Well, it's a song for fascist propaganda. We should all hate it, but it's soooooo fucking good. LOL
he hates it, but he has no issue dancing to it if you keep him next to the Jukebox while it plays. lol.
it's so bop, that I want to boop Stamp's snoot 😅
In Chapter 5, Barret does clarify that he appreciates the idea of Stamp, but hates what Shinra's done with him.
@@LevantineR1 I think that statement by Barret is key to the hinting at Stamp not being originally a tool for Shinra propaganda, rather it was its own thing to start with, but then taken over and then changed to be a child indoctrination tool for a fascist corporation/government.
They personally nailed the sound of old children's cartoon themes
When I close my eyes, I can picture cloud bobbing his head to the beat. 🥰🥰🥰
Poor cloud, always keep it cool eventough this music is too headbanging
That’s it! I’m joining Shinra!

I found it last night and I’ve been doing the same!! lol!
I wonder if cloud originally wanted to become a shinra solider as a kid because the stamp propaganda
stamp is the goodest of boys, what a treat to hear this
Freaking love it, obsessed with the music of Final 7 remake!!
This song is proof that I am not immune to Shinra propaganda

Yep

The propaganda is horrible, but damn if you ignore the whole "hearts as big as Shinra" bit, it's an incredibly cute song.
I know hearts as big as Shinra lol.
Damn this song remind me old times
this song makes me want to drop upper sector 7's plates
I love this so muuuuuuuuuch 😭 thank you soooooo much
Why does this version make me so emotional? It's like the ending of an anime series in terms of arrangement. 😿😿😿
I loved the disconnect between the dire situation you were in when you first encounter this jukebox, and just how upbeat and cultish the propaganda song is. So many great moments in Remake.
Stamp has the best song for 2 games in a row now.
I wasn't expecting this bop in the middle of storming Reactor 5
Somehow went from one of my most hated songs in the game to one of my favourites. That chorus melody and harmony is just too 🔥🔥🔥
ELO, Bee Gees and Olivia Newton-John have been blended together to unite within Midgar.
Definitely has those Xanadu vibes!
You know the song fire when your kid knows the lyrics.
I just heard this playing rebirth aaaa ❤❤
This woman legit only learned English the day she recorded this song.
Amazing how this song is actually used for evil, huh?

Many thanks!
my pleasure 😙 but sorry for the background 🤣just listen the song only

Genius.
Every time I hear this song I think about Zack

Maybe it's a stretch, but does the characterization of Stamp in the song kinda match Cloud?

Girl 2: "probably heavy-metal."

Of all the great songs in ff7r, why is this the one that gets stuck in my head?? LOL
Because it's catchy as hell. Which is quite fitting considering it's supposed to be propaganda.
bow wow wow

I think this song is a modal shift of Dreams and Honor from Crisis Core OST.
Listen to the chorus at 0.5x, then listen to Minerva’s theme.
