What kind of problems have you experienced with the armbar?

I have drilled this sequence a lot, exactly as you show it, and I am usually successful in live rolls. Unless my partner is much stronger than me... In this situation I tend to loose the trapped arm once I no longer have both hands on it. This happens after establishing high guard, I may not be pinching my thighs hard enough due to a nagging groin injury. I also tend to loose the arm with stronger people when I let go of my left hand and place it over partner’s left shoulder to break posture (same situation, only one of my hands is holding the arm). I have no issue with the subsequent steps of rotation and placing the leg over the head, not the neck. Once I am past the high guard I can easily finish.
