Don’t worry brother stuff happen, it happen to me to I crashed just like you did, made the same mistake I hit balance point and forgot about the back brakes. get your delft the parts and some nice frame sliders and some case covers those will save your life. Stay positive!
just looped my duke a few days ago and looking at about 800$ in repairs. it's simply part of the game, at least if you're doing wheelies. learned a lesson though to not try holding balance point on a bumpy rode in 30 degrees when i cant even feel my feet. just reminded me that no matter how good i get, i will still eventually loop out again. something all riders need to come to terms with.
Damn, sucks to hear that. Yea you gotta pay to play, I should’ve started with a cage. Have to stay positive though, I haven’t looped in two years. Plenty of small falls with no broken parts on me or my bike. $800 is a lot man, fixing my fz in this case cost around $100
I know this was a yr ago but bro it almost made me tear up when u fell off man me myself I have a mt07 an I would've sat there on the ground crying an wishing I jus stayed home but honestly mad respect for how well u handle the whole situation even tho you could hear the anga an pain through ur breathing I feel ur pain man me myself haven't dropped my bike or fell but man it's a nightmare an hopefully youv fixed up or bought another one an doin better than ever❤❤
Appreciate it bro, I am doing better than ever! FZ07 is fully stunted out, handbrake and everything, and I’ve added a zx6r to the stable. After this fall I fixed the bike in less than a week. It just needed the stator cover and a lever/peg. Never gonna stop doing wheelies now! lol
Some of us have to learn the hard way get a cage if you’re going to stunt ride unless your money bags you’re going to have to keep buying it over and over
This right here is my biggest fear and what's keeping me from learning how to wheelie. I have an 08 R6 and a CB125R. With the R6 I'm scared shitless of even getting close to balance point because I won't have the money to fix it if I crash. With the 125 I've been really close to balance point but it's hard because I need to go at like 10kmph to be able to lift it up and it doesn't have the torque to come up easily
Never chase your wheelies, power wheelies are a good and fast way to go down plus damage you and your bike more, foot brake memory and balance point is key
bike can be fixed bruh, as long as u good. two kinds of bikers, those that have dropped their bikes and those that will drop their bikes, all part of the game. stay safe man.
Lmao, this was over a year ago! But nah it made me angry enough that now a year later I’ve mastered footbrake and getting the hang of handbrake and seat standers wheelies. I didn’t quit, I used the disappointing mistake to make my bike and I even better!
Just looped my xsr700 yesterday… mines a lot more fucked I need new front forks and a rear swing arm. The engine and frame is undamaged somehow. I’m also happy my Akra carbon didn’t get scratched either but still it’s gonna hurt my wallet pretty bad.
This video is 3 years old. This wasn’t a full send if been at that level for a few months before this happened, but yea watch Team Level Ups video on how to wheelie.
You have to start clutch ups are scary at first but they are easier to control when you start getting the wheel higher. You have a much higher chance of looping a power wheelie if you throttle it past balance point
It’s worth getting one man, I’m a big advocate for crash cages even if you don’t stunt. They’re safer for your frame and protect more parts when compared to frame sliders.
That’s mostly why this happened, also at the time I was trying way to hard to get the bike to come back more by leaning my body backwards. Which put my body in a terrible position to control the bike, I may not have even been able to hit the rear brake if I tried, due to my poor body position.
You can do it if you want it bad enough! But if you can't afford protection for yourself, your bike, or the cost of replacement parts, then you should make more money and still learn to wheelie lol. But honestly you will make mistakes, it's part of the game. It's not rocket science though, just takes dedication and mind over matter.
This was my cheap practice bike lol. Kinda joking, but that’s not a lie. I wanted to learn on a bike that I wanted to keep even after upgrading. I have a zx6r now. Still have my FZ too!
Stay tuned! I have another crash video I will be posting! It’s more exciting than this one and it’s “ruining” (lol think you had a typo in your comment buddy) public roads.
did you just forget the back brake was there? I've done that and I've also grabbed the front brake when about to loop lol. you never forget the lessons that you learned the hard way
That last statement is so true bro! But at this point in my riding I wasn’t using footbrake correctly. I would hit it below balance point to bring me down but I purposely wasn’t using it because I knew it was preventing me from hitting balance point. I was not ready for how different the bike would feel at BP or how to modulate my brake/throttle to stay at BP. Pure inexperience of balance point wheelies is how this happened. But it’s also how I learned to wheelie quickly. Especially since I got a cage after this lol
They weren’t bent, actually I’m still riding on those same forks and this was two years ago. Already replaced the fork seals 3 times. Definitely weren’t bent lol
@@savagesummers_bikelife quite savage as the name. Don't soil yourself. And good luck with AIDs bud. I read that they make pills now. Hope you're doing ok..

Lol, what’s funny is I have actual anxiety for no reason. But it doesn’t bother me when I ride

I need a friend like that guy at the end. He said if you don't know how to do it, bring it by my house. I'll fix it for you.
Yea, he’s definitely a real one! Every person should try their best to be like that in life. Not just when it comes to bikes.

bruh the r6 got so much pull, just pop it a few feet up and chase the wheelie. no reason to hit balance point on that bike if you dont want to.

T-'Rex engine guards $130
Stunt cages are better, engine guards are decent for a daily bike that’s not going to be stunted in lots.
But yes they do run about $800 a set for cages, which is why I didn’t have any when I filmed this video
@@savagesummers_bikelife you don't need to spend $800 on cages there's plenty of cheap options for the MT07
