Hello putha, my son is a chef in profession lives in Melbourne, and he already submitted his ROI in 11th August , (he came to Mel in 2013 in age of 17, to do his A/L VCE, achieved atar score of 83.06 and waited till 25 to apply PR, did two study courses in between ) when will be the next invitation round comes out? If you have genuine qualifications, there will be no issue. They can't treat an individual, because of the country as it will be a human rights violation

You need to try and see. South Australia, western Australia, northern territory or Tasmania will be easier than Victoria. Canada will be easier than Australia
You have a really good chance in Tasmania for 190 because they have 2000 quotes for in 22/23 fiscal year. If you are not good enough for 190 they could give your a chance for 491. Please use this like www.migration.tas.gov.au/skilled_migrants/skilled_regional2 Tasmania migration system is not based on marking system like other ( but you should have minimum 65 for the ROI)states so you have a good chance. Apply ASAP because it’s very competitive. Best of luck
An expatriate ( expat in short) is usually someone educated and skilled in certain jobs, works in another country while temporarily staying in that country. When their job assignment is over they go back to their countries and have no intension to stay permanently. (I.e higher jobs in UAE, consultancy jobs in Asian countries etc). Immigrant is someone who comes to a country to live there permanently. Illegal immigrants are those who enter other countries to live without legal permission to do so. On the other hand when you say ' migrant worker' it has a different meaning. They are lower paid job categories such as seasonal farm workers, cleaners etc. not entitled to seek permanent residency such as workers in the middle east. It is nothing to do with the colour of the person.
