    Came back to this to see Janja's first ever win, so moving knowing how far she's come! "Janja Garnbret wins her first ever world cup, something tells me this won't be her last" couldn't have been more right

      To think that she won over 30 World Cups after this one is amazing

    I thought Jain Kim had asked the IFSC not to play Gangnam Style...?

    • @chriskwontiff
      @chriskwontiff 8 лет назад +2

      Exactly.
      She's been mentioning about that a lot of time in official.

    • @chriskwontiff
      @chriskwontiff 8 лет назад +1

      Even though her request is ignored obviously.

      Yeah I thought the same, seems very disrespectful to her to keep playing it.

      can't believe it was played again

    Good quality coverage and good to see Janja's first lead win.
    Edit: watching the lead and boulder coverage backwards from 2019.

    Can't wait for Janja and Ashima to go head to head in a couple of years. Should be epic.

      Who is Ashima? Ah, i see. The obvious US hybris again.

      @@lorenzsteffens1129 It's funny that you are commenting about an out-of-date video. Turns out time has proven Ashima to be a non-factor in "competitive" climbing. Then again a lot of great climbers are also irrelevant non-factors where competitive climbing is concerned. By the way, what does hybris mean? Did you instead mean, hubris? Either way, both our comments are out of date.

      Come here to see Janja's first senior win. I think Ashima still a very good climber. But mostly outdoor I think. And put young kids in a super high position may not be a good thing. She suffers from some mental problems. Too much pressure.

    Is it only me or is Janjas rope very tight when she makes the last jump? It looks as if she were to be pulled down and nearly missed the top hold.. 2:30:10

      Looks way too tight for me, but both for Anna and Janja, so hmm, maybe it was the weight...

    Speaking of pronouncing names, Stefano has an emphasis on the first syllable, opposed to the second as is portrayed by the casters, as well as the ghi in Ghisolfi being a hard gh noise...
