- If you're a regular shopper at Harmons in Salt Lake City's Brickyard neighborhood, you probably know Brandon Wojciechowski. He's worked there for 19 years and has made quite an impression on customers.
"We'll have lines backed up. I'll open up right next to him and try to pull customers over, because I’m thinking they’re in a hurry. No, they want to go to Brandon's line," Harmons Store Director Ryan Morris said.
More on Brandon' story here: via.fox13now.co...
"She spoke very little English but We Both Smiled" Wow that statement alone is humanity in a nutshell.
Drove me to tears.
@KLUB SERG ???
So moving ❤
she was lucky she wasn't in France
Humanity in a nutshell is pointless wars
So this time Branden got “caught” doing a good deed....Makes you wonder how many times he’s gotten away with it.
Lmoa he seems decent human being
very good point my friend, he seems like a really decent guy and I bet he has been the object of bullying in the past.
My God, he’s truly unstoppable!
hmmm, people line up at his register on purpose. I wonder why?
Not hard to guess you’re a Trump Supporter 🙄
I want to live in a world where there are nothing but Brandons. This man is going straight to heaven. 🙏
He is from heaven a angel in disguise
🙏 amen
Me too, Please let me know when you find that special place. 😀
If everyone acted like Brandon this place would become Heaven.
🙏🏾
Thats a real man right there. Didn't get the best hand dealt to him but still has leadership and nuturing qualities. Store is lucky to have him.
The world is lucky to have an amazing person like him.
Through faith in Christ his treasures will be in heaven!
After all the cards are turned in and the chips are cashed, it will show exactly the kind of hand he was dealt.
Sometimes I think the world is messed up, and that humanity is ruined. But there are people like these who are just the heroes and friends of this world.
Floofette Why do you think that
Well if you think about all the shet that's happening in the world right now, it's pretty easy to be convinced that there's way more bad than good. And @Sanjay, yes, exactly! The world is gonna be screwed in the future unless some genius comes up with a way to get rid of all our problems with some fancy technology or somethin'
Floofette I think there is alot more good than bad
Hmm, I guess I'm a pessimist then. But like- COVID-19, global warming, recovering from bushfires over here, crazy weather, poverty, ungrateful and bratty people, messed up people, dirty water, not enough water, trees, animal abuse, human abuse, etc etc
I feeeeeeeeel like there's more bad, but I guess it depends on how you look at it
@Sanjay Rawat Goodness I think I'm just not mature enough to have this conversation, sorry if I sound really negative. Also I live near a city in australia so it's a tiny bit different here :p
This should be a thing, "public faming" (as opposed to public shaming)....
Perhaps yes
Well it is a thing, it's just more rare than the shaming thing.
facts
@@Trezker the damn media
Most people that do good do it quietly. There's a joy in that. It's not that good deeds are rare. The problem is that we look for and focus on the bad because shaming others makes people feel better about themselves.
Brandon is such a sweetheart. I hope he’s still doing well.
World needs a billion more like him. Incredible to be kind consistently. We all have moments, but to live like this all the time should teach us all.
He’s so happy because his kindness beams like sunshine inside him and keeps him warm☀️

God bless you Brandon. You will get your reward. Though, for people like yourself, I know that giving is its own reward.
"Customers are like my family"...I'd say he's employee of the month/year/decade/century! Well done Brandon. 🙂👍
Now this a man we should help and love..the government should waste their money for their own people..

I'm glad he found a job he likes to do. Most people go to work and think about dying
People like him will be in heaven wearing crowns and we will be washing their feet..and gladly so!
It's crazy like how people with so much money sometimes hesitate to help but people who dont have much help a lot

Not to take away from his generosity, but why the heck doesn't the grocery store cover this? Every grocery store in my area literally gives away at a minimum hundreds of dollars of free food every week to people who come up short or can't afford it. They can take a write off on it and they would never want an employee to pay for it out of their own pocket. They will discount or give whatever you need for free if you come up short and can't afford it and if you're really in need and have no money at all they have someone who can take you over to the local food pantry too for any free food you need. This is not unusual - what's unusual is an employee covering your cost, because they don't need to and the company (who I won't name but it's regional around here) is happy to help people who need it. I've even had them one time offer to let me have stuff for free when I realized I forgot to bring enough cash, and I had to explain it's not that I'm in need and I don't need them to do that, I just forgot to bring enough money! I've seen them send drifters away to a homeless shelter with free bags of groceries ... no problem.
everyone when he gets fired because of covid when he worked there for 19 years :
Why she buying Cheetos?
Shouldn't she be buying proper food if she's genuinely starving??
Hmmm , good point 🤔
You ever try to buy "proper" food when you're broke? Junk food packs the most bulk and calories for the buck. Fruit, vegetables -- those are expensive.

Of course he still has his job he works in a supermarket...

People like this need more recognition. Makes me proud to know people like Branden exist in the same universe I do.
Because I know I can never be like Brandon, I am one of the people who will act as his shield, LIVE AND DIE FOR KINDNESS
You're acting like this isn't a normal thing in humanity? We would be recognizing millions of people and nobody at the same time. Makes me proud to be a human that recognizes this stuff in day to day interactions.
this is pretty normal. Especially for those with special needs, they tend to get jobs at grocery stores and stay there for 20+ years doing the same low paying jobs. People without special needs tend to move on because these jobs dont pay enough to live on at all, so you never have time to form the same bonds with them.
The customer barely had any money and she was spending her last pennies on Cheetos?.......................
@@jonjonson4826 Exactly. Chetoos isn't something you need to survive. I wouldn't pay for her. If she was buying hygine products that's something else but fucking cheetos? Just return them if you can't afford them you can survive without them just fine.

@Alex Jay k
@Alex Jay do you realize the amount of publicity and attention Brandon has gained for the store? This alone is enough to gain him double his wage. Also, besides the point, but you seem to have a very greedy and pessimistic mindset based on what you’ve been saying 🤡
During my college years, I was buying 2 cans of spaghettios but at the checkout I didn't have enough change. So I said to just get the one can but a customer behind me insisted on paying for the second. I said, "no, really it's ok. I can get it next time I just didn't bring the correct amount" but the customer paid anyway. That was almost 20 years ago but I have never forgotten that. And I try to do the same if someone comes up short. You never know the impact you have on someone. Thank you kind customer - I will always remember your act of kindness 💕.
azianchick that was sweet
I was at WALMART in a hurry and a bad mood. Guy in front of me had a hand full of items. When it was my turn to check out, i noticed the cashier grabbed a small package of pampers and rang them on my order and when i said something turns out it was the dudes. Wanting to avoid the kerfuffle i could see the young guy and the young cashier about to try and trouble shoot over this small pack of diapers I was just like it's fine I'll pay for don't worry about it...I was in a hurry so the girl kept ringing me out and the guy just stood there thanking me and offering me his money and I'm just thinking dude! Go away! Lol... he offered to help me with to my car and I'm no dude it's fine..have a nice day...he went on to tell me that his girl told him the baby needed diapers that was his main reason for coming to the store and i don't know how much it means to him cuz he's on his last few dollars until he gets paid... you just never know how far small gestures reach. I had a teen nephew and his dead beat dad, my brother at my house and I was replenishing supplies that they selfishly deplete without any regard are care of how burdensome they were to me and i was REALLY angry...that dude gave me perspective. Helped me as much as i helped him paying for that small package of off-brand pampers
azianchick: yes! once, after i confirmed with the cashier that they don't charge tax on food because i had just enough money to buy the food i'd picked out but nothing more, a nice lady bought my little pile of groceries. i will never forget her.

I'm a former cashier, of 10 years, you would be surprised by how many employees actually do these kinds of things. It is hard to work a customer service job and see the very worst of people and people in the very worst of situations. People need to open their hearts more and remember that good deeds manifest the more we perform them.

After 19 years at the same grocery store he should be making killer pay.
My mother in law is mentally retarded (I don't know the new politically correct term). She worked at a grocery store for 13 years and left (in 2007) making $15/hour.
@@denilla8034 "mentally retarded " I think these days you'd say "special needs" or has "learning difficulties" These terms change so often - it can be difficult to keep up! :) I'm in the UK is $15 a good wage? I get £9 an hour - which atm is $12.53 (checked online) - $15 sounds like a relatively good wage, although I don't know if it would be, taking into consideration living costs!
@@rhyfelwrDuw I can tell you that, in America you need to make less than $80k a year to qualify for the covid aid package and that 85% of Americans qualify. Is $15/hour a good wage? No. Regardless of the job, it's a shit wage that you'd be fortunate to live on. Forget comfort. But, after 15 years with any company, the employee should be making a great wage.
