Often I awake in the night, predawn with worship songs playing in my head, containing a message that I need to hear in order to help me through whatever I am going through and what my prayers and spiritual groaning conveys to the Lord. I have been grieving over several situations for the past 3 weeks, finally had a good cry and heartfelt prayer which greatly relieved my emotional and spiritual pain. At 3 am this morning I woke up with children's Christian songs of worship in my head. "I've got the love of Jesus down in my heart... I am so happy, so very happy... I've got the love of Jesus in my heart..." I was so filled with joy that I broke out singing it before I even got out of bed... lol... I am convinced that these are messages from the Holy Spirit. I am not perfect and I sin, but the Lord has been changing me... molding this lump of clay, helping me to dig up and toss my fleshly weaknesses and sinful behavior into the refuse pile. I am so thankful to the Lord for His Holy Living Word, Jesus my (our) Savior, His Holy Spirit, and for his helping me learn more of who He is and for his shaping me to grow in faith and to become a little more like Him.
It seems our Lord gave you a new song in your heart!!! How beautifully depicting His attentiveness over us and our lives! Psalm 40:2-3 He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, And set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: Many shall see it, and fear, And shall trust in the LORD. That’s our king!!!
Amazing!!! You could not have done that better if you planned it 😊… The Lord is so great! The kids are camping this week but I will tell them that God has answered their prayers for your m.i.l and you householder. Thanks brother!!! Love you all!
