Explanation:
If the nominee died before the policyholder what does SBI and LIC Insurance claim process entail. If the policyholder dies and the nominee also dies before the claim is received usually the legal Heirs of the nominee are entitled to get the Insurance claim or else the legal Heirs of the policyholder can contest the claim.
If the nominee dies before the policyholder then the nomination in insurance becomes invalid and the policy holder has to submit a new nomination appointing a new person. It is always advisable to keep your nomination in life insurance up to date so that there is no hassles during the claim procedure.
If have any doubts related to the nomination clients then please reach out to your Insurance Company . Make sure the claim is filed in reasonable time so that it is not rejected or there is a delay in the claim processing.

But in general insurance(Bike, car) , what will happen , The loss of indemnity rule is followed, isn't it?
