I'm watching Neuquén from a foreigner's perspective! And it's so much fun! I have never been particularly keen on Neuquén city even though I was born and raised here. To me it's so boring!!! It's a small godforsaken town. But it makes me happy to see that you are happy here. I haven't swam in that river since I was six years old because I'm terrified of it. I almost drowned and the water is contaminated. I'm 46 now, so I visit the river only in summer evenings but I watch it from a distance. I haven't been in it for 40 years! My husband kayaks twice a week but I don't go with him because I like I mentioned 😨 I'm so scared of the water. Summer in Neuquén is so cruel! The temperature is over 40 so people flock to the river and it's not nice! Too many people 😕! Enjoy it now that it is peaceful. Great video! Keep up the good work 💪!!!

That shanty town seemed a bit dangerous, But i will bet you the people who live there although very poor would welcome you into their homes and share what little they have,, Some of the poorest people on this earth can be the most hospital and friendly people.. Our ancestors lived in communities all playing an interconnected role, using all natural materials in their daily lives which I believe these and other aspects led to a deeper connection with their environment and themselves. Take away the community connectedness (look at previous USSR compared to post capitalism); our connection to nature; the creation of plastic and other forever chemical materials; and the income inequality you get what we see in todays life in many parts of the world. Create community, get back into nature, less reliance on the government and more on our own sustainability, more focus on peace, with security…and less conflict

Hello Max, I really like this one because I can understand most of it, plus I'm really interested in the new words and phrases. My only complaint was there was no barbed wire or cactus for you to test with your finger. Lol, I love it when you do that. Anyways, I think the squatters are good. They probably create less garbage than the rest of us and reuse a lot of it, just there is no garbage collection for people who squat. People have to live somewhere so they try. I expect they actually have good communities because they would need to help each other. There is a famous squatter city in Mumbai Inda, built on top of the cities rubbish dump. Really dirty, but the further you go into the center of this squatter city, the cleaner and more organized it is. They actually survive by recycling the garbage created by the clean people outside. A problem with civilization yes, but the people doing the squatting, in my opinion, are more the solution then the problem. Another great video! Thank you.
Don't get depressed Max! Teaching a language is also a tool you give to people to improve their lives. It is impossible to change the world fast, unfortunately. There are some 200 million people in the world who miss their mother land s . You are not alone. There may also well be Russian people, not born in Russia (or even born in Russia), whose dream is one day go to Russia, if only for a few hours...
Max, this was so sad to see. I understand you opinion. Many people live in the countryside of Russia in what we would call "poverty" but they still care for mother nature. Russian souls are a blessing to this beautiful planet.

Yes, true, in my country in Europe, too. They live in improvised homes just like these in Max's video, they have wild dogs, and there's often such trash and polluted nature around them. I think gathering and selling some of that trash, like iron, is how they make money.
