Dude who made "fight for life" was actually someone who worked on the original virtua fighter by sega. However he never said he was happy wuth the product. Actually quite the opposite! Atari never paid him properly so he released what hed done unfinished and atari frickin released it as is!!
Back then my local gray importer would rent his consoles out at the weekends, a tenner got me Cybermorph and Alien Vs Predator, hated that controller as well.
You mentioned the “ST” at the end (I think). What are you referring to? I’m from the United States and I don’t even know this as a reference; since apparently this is something we never got.
The atari ST was a 16 bit computer that was hugely popular in europe not just for gaming but also the music scene, it was released in the states but flopped over there just like the commodore amiga but it was an amazing machine for the time
I actually love Atari karts. Just spent 3 hrs on it yesterday. It was the first game I played when I got my jag. That being said I'm a sucker for kart racers lol
I have one other fun game that wasn’t listed here. Nba Jam Tournament Edition. I have a Multitap and 3 controllers. Need to get a 4th but even with 3 players, the game is a blast.
Btw; im sure you know this, but the reason why most games are "16bit" looking is because the jag had 3 chips. Tom, jerry and the 68000 - which the final was the heart of the GENE/DRIVE - getting all 3 to coordinate was very tricky so most bypassed Tom and jerry (the 32bit chips) [ummm so "doin the math" don't that make the jag 80bit???] So most developers opted just use the Motorola 68k as they knew it well... hence game's like bruce lee etc. In fact these games looked WORSE than the MEGA/SIS because of bottle necks due to bypassing tom n jerry! Sigh....what a shit show?!
0:57 the way you suddenly took four game boxes with your hands is underrated
"Where did you learn to fly"
The epitome line/meme of the jaguar.
Shame really as it did have a few gems
The Aliens game was the only reason I ever looked into the Jag consoles bitd. Nice job.
Think only the Tempest port sparks any interest in me with regards Jaguar console games. Nice job as always👍
As soon as you did that Bruce Lee "ooooooo" I subscribed immediately

The jaguar controller with it's stupid overlays has to be the worst joypad ever released
@@Consoletronix It was the shape for me, me the only thing that i've came across that worse is when i try to use my ZX Vega.

It's such a missed opportunity for the weapons system on it though....they suck!
