This is awesome you know, that's why I subscribed soon as I saw one of your videos, but the main goal of these videos is to interact with the viewers and answer their question otherwise, what's the good? I like how you used the template to illustrate what wire went where, I think that's genius because, some people don't just go that extra distance. Ok, my question is, in one of your videos where you made a oven/baker from a coca cola can and you have a heating rod like that of a oven inside the microwave oven shaped thing and you powered it via a 12v PC powerpack, I followed that video up until it got complicated with the PC powerpack. It was just an overkill, because if I was going to make mine, how & where the heck will I find a powerpack laying around? So, the question is, can I power the same oven with this system here? if yes, which wire goes where?
A power source that provides an electrical current of at least 5A is required. That is, it needs a powerful source. Or you can use a 12v battery from a drill. Thanks for the comment
@@inventus Ok, or one can make a 12v powerbank and connect it right? and another thing is, the switch you used in that video was a little different though, if you remember, you wired the (+) to one end of the switch(which only had 2 terminals by the way, as opposed to 6 here in this video) and the other end to one end of the oven coil, then, you connected the other (-) wire to the other end of the switch and the other end to the PC powerpack and you also showed a 12v wire with ground, I just wished you'd used something like a regular battery and not PC power. There are so many wires in PC powerpack that it gets intimidating. Second question is, instead of using a 9v battery here, can I use a 18650 battery instead? and just solder a wire to both the + & - end? will it still work or it has to be the same 9v battery you used in the video?
