@@TheJDoyle42 I herd it before but if you Guys are big j dilla and madlib fans you will be begging for j dilla and madlib stuff and I’m still rock with the red the heist raw shit starz nowadaze and more till this day
Man the fact that this exists I have not seen footage of JayDeee rocking the mic like this same with Madlib they both shine here I am blown away this has been unearthed 17 years later....amazing tears of joy
This ìs a gem! Madlib, J ROCC, Peanut butter Wolf, J Dilla, And Black Dante aka Pretty Flaco aka Mos Def aka Yasin Bey. All I gotta say. I remember this when it was 02' dam good vibes ans memories. I was hoping someone would upload this to the tube! Thank you from the bottom of my heart. This performance to this day is my favorite Live Hip Hop show of all time and I been to a lot of em, RIP Dilla! I knew this was special when it was live and full effect in the now . Enjoyed this many times after , the last time you saw all these greats together rocking the MiC and turning the wheels of steel on the stage . I tried many times to find this or buy from the Montreux Jazz , if I could have this on blu-ray I'd be complete!
I talk to mudd of 5 elements who worked with J Dilla he said he has an alternate personality it was hard to understand what he meant but now I get it he’s a genius kept to himself quiet then when it’s time to preform he extroverted rocking the crowd dilla is the guy he’s was very sensitive and had a close circle for any of you that don’t know J dilla worked with a group called 5 elementz with proof, Mudd, thyme when he was a teenager I have family that grew up with Dilla and Mudd told me dilla was a asshole in kindergarten he came up to him because dillas sister Martha was talking to Mudd and dilla was defensive and that’s how they became friends. Along the years dilla was getting recognition in Detroit from his group SV and producing for artists . Mudd told me dilla would come by his crib and flex in big Cadillac trucks and dump cash on their table and would keep it moving. To sum up the conclusion Dilla was an introverted delicate soul with an incredible ear (being from MO-Town music is in our blood) and dilla was also a big tipper in the stripper clubs flexing on his childhood homeboys. Alternate Ego was Dillas middle name
My shazam says "You Betta Watch Yo Step" by Ultimate DJ Tools... looks like it's a sample from some older joint, but can't seem to find it. Will keep trying. edit: I FOUND IT ruclips.net/video/gsSOT3Pkyfw/видео.html
