7 years back, when I was in second year of my college, this movie happened. ❤️ The frenzy created by Premam was really something. The black shirt and Mundu, along with Moustache and Beard (aka Katta Thaadi) and cooling glass was trending in Kerala campuses throughout that year. Also for girls with frizzy hair, they were called "Mary" (character name of Anupama Parameswaran in the movie) and those with long hair, used to do "Malar miss" hair style. The sweet teacher in every campus was called Malar miss, for obvious reasons. Aah , those days❤️

Even in Bangladesh too. There is one problem is language. Normally Bangladeshis can easily understand hindi but malayalam is completely different. There is no clue of a single word of malayalam. Hope there will be more Subtitled and Hindi dubbed Kerala movies.

Premam was released only in metro cities like Chennai.....While Tamil Films find it difficult to cross 25 days, Premam ran for 250 days in SPI&ESCAPE cinemas....And has been re-released 4 times till date....Premam was a movie celebrated equally by TN&Kerala
@@anandu6284 but it had a 235 days+ run in theatres. I don't think any tamil film did this even in this entire decade May be kabali had a 200 days I think so. Other than that none of the film had this much run in theatres .Both Bangalore days and Premam was celebrated in TN.

7 years back, when I was in second year of my college, this movie happened. ❤️ The frenzy created by Premam was really something. The black shirt and Mundu, along with Moustache and Beard (aka Katta Thaadi) and cooling glass was trending in Kerala campuses throughout that year. Also for girls with frizzy hair, they were called "Mary" (character name of Anupama Parameswaran in the movie) and those with long hair, used to do "Malar miss" hair style. The sweet teacher in every campus was called Malar miss, for obvious reasons. Aah , those days❤️

The story, script, acting, direction, language,location everything is exceptional. Above all the Malayali culture has touched me to such extent that I would like to be reborn as a Malayali. Premam was released only in metro cities like Chennai.....While Tamil Films find it difficult to cross 25 days, Premam ran for 250 days in SPI&ESCAPE cinemas....And has been re-released 4 times till date....Premam was a movie celebrated equally by TN&Kerala
