Hi I'm in North Wales too, in Flintshire and just got a v3, I'm learning slowly. I'm trying to make an antenna for Airband, have you got any suggestions please? Great video.
look on youtube for a slim jim antenna build. Google slim jim calculator enter the desired frequency and build your own. It's a good learning curve for you as well. Hope this helps
I have this as well and there is some differences between the v3 and v4 as you stated. I dont have the time to show it in a video but you might be a good candidate to do just that. Even the setup is a bit different so you could put together some good content.
Maybe a bit much gain there. Also if you want weak signals selecting a low bandwidth does help a lot! Kinda interesting that you are able drive it into overload it using that antenna! Have fun, a tiny portable reciver is totally worth to have!
That looks kinda nice! I ordered one aswell, just gotta wait.
Finally HF is available a little bit even if it's a bit spotty.
Great video mate, do you know of any good high ground DX locations I could visit in north Wales, static mobile

@@christophercullin9309 Thanks.I'll check that out on the weekend.
I have the RTL-SDR V4, with the antenna. Got it about 3 weeks ago. Are you on LSB ?

73 from Brasil.
You should of gone 2 or 3 miles up the road to the turning to go up to pen y pass.Better signals up there
Can I use V4 with android? It says it's possible, but I haven't seen any RUclips videos. Should I buy it to use with Android?
Nice sdr 👍📉📈
IDK I can think of better things than listening to static while sitting in a car, nothing personal but what is the end goal here?
most people here are radio enthusiasts
You'd rather enjoy playing with your boogers I guess.
Maybe because we have an interest?
