Forestellla is composed of Ko Woorim, opera singer, deep voice, who you like so much. First one to start singing was Bae Dohoon, who was a musical actor and singer before he joined ForeStella; Kang Hyungho, a former chemical engineer, with no formal voice training, and Cho Mingyu, leader of this group, also an opera singer. Forestellla is a crossover group, which means they do all genres, from classical opera to pop. All four of them have extremely powerful voices, which you could not really see on display here. Depending on which song you listen to, and who is singing, what part, I keep changing favorites every week! I suggest you listen to the cover of Bohemian Rhapsody, Scarborough Fair, Hijo de la Luna, Je suis malade, Inner Universe, Parla Piu piano, and after this, you will have a good idea of all the genres they cover. To answer your question, they were singing in Spanish here. None of them speak Spanish. According to all the Spanish reactors, who have listened to this song, the pronunciation is perfect, they are practice freaks, and will only deliver a perfect product. Their leader, Cho Mingyu, has sung in many different languages, he has a version of “frozen” in 12 different languages on his channel.

@@lowlifecurtis I forgot to mention their own original songs, which are phenomenal; “Save our lives”, “For Life”, “Utopia”, and “White nights”. They are truly magnificent.
They're from S.Korea, But, these guys sing in Korean, English, French, Spanish, Italian, Latin, Russian, etc..My bias is the second one from the left.
He's a soprano in this quartet, and his voice is so angelic and so powerful in the high notes.
I highly recommend to you "Inner Universe", "Time in a bottle", "Behemian Rhapsody"

This is Forestella, a crossover group from Korea. They are the winner group in the Phantom Singer 2; an audition show to form a crossover quartet like il Divo from Korea. However as they have their own unique style, they won't be Korean il Divo, they will be the Forestella of the world!
Forestella has sung great covers like Bohemian Rhapsody, We are the Champions, Hijo de la Luna, Heal the World, the Sound of Silence, My Favorite Things, Champions (mash-up of Champs league theme and Champions by Jo SuMi), Nella Fantasia, Scarborough Fair..etc etc. At the Phantom Singer All Stars they sang Time in a bottle, Je suis Malade as well. Shape of You in English, Spanish and African Zulu is fantastic indeed.
You can even see them dancing singing Smooth Criminal as well! If you are a LOL fan, check their Warriors and Legends Never Die!
And they broke the record of their own with EXO's MAMA winning 6 trophies for King of Kings in a row in Immortal Songs. Check their magnificent performances of Bad Romance and Lazenca Save us, Unwritten Legend and Despacito too.
Forestella is a quartet of Ko WooRim (classical bass, intense abyss-deep low tone), Kang HyungHo (ex-research chemist, rock vocalist with soprano head voice falsetto), Cho MinGyu (classical leggiero tenor, light boyish crystal clear tone) and Bae DooHoon (musical actor, 159th King of the Masked Singers, emotion convincer good at R&B, Pop). Each has distinct tone and style of singing, different charm. But all of them are famous as practice-freaks. They meet almost everyday to practice together. In a radio program the leader (Cho MinGyu) revealed it would be around 20 days they didn't meet in the year. Bae DooHoon also said they don't meet 1~2 days in a month. I think this explains how their perfection can be possible.
Don't miss their m/v for Save our lives! It's full of wonders. Each of them is representing an element in the m/v. They sang Fake Love of BTS and their song Save our lives at MAMA. Their new original song Utopia is a must check.
Now I see they are creating a genre called Forestella. They showed "What crossover is" with Save our lives and showing "What Forestella does" with Utopia! Recently, they released their new original song, White Night.
Two members including deep voice trained classical training. They were made a team through TV show which is Phantom singer 2 for cross over singers. Spanish is not second language at all for most of Korean.

With Forestella you cannot just pick a favorite. They are all amazing. Listen to Kang Hyung-ho‘s version of „The phantom of the opera“, and you will be blown away, too 😆

the original version of this song is by puerto rican singer luis fonsi. this performance is from a show that forestella appears on a lot where famous artists perform covers of past hits. sometimes all the performers sing songs from a specific artist and sometimes it's based on a theme or a genre. forestella goes viral with a lot of their covers, but they are a classical crossover quartet so their own music is more classically influenced.

All of them are equally famous I say, they all have different voices n they really shine together without overshadow others,their songs arrangement always be able to showcase every member voices in their own style. that's the thing about Forestella and it's hard to find another group like them. But if I have to pick my bias, of course, I love the deep voice the most.

Love your reaction. They are from South Korea and they do all types of songs and they were singing this song in Spanish. Probably their most popular cover video would be Bohemian Rapsody. My personal favourite is the theme to Godfather movie.
Every single member is tremendously valuable and irreplaceable for the group. All are very gifted talents, have a very large vocal range and individually outstanding abilities. Of course, the particularly distinctive voices of Ko WooRim (the velvety bass) and Kang HyungHo (rock singer with angelic soprano voice - over 3 1/2 octaves) stand out the most. But they always consciously cast the voices in such a way that they are particularly effective for the respective song. But each of their voices is very attractive in its own way and I love them all. This constellation of talents, skills and unique tones makes them incomparable and, for me, the best vocal group in the world. Their most famous reinterpretation is probably "Bad Romance" (maybe soon "Despacito"??) I also recommend "Lazenka Save Us" ! (Korean Rock) and "Inner Universe" (Ghost of the Shell) and "Smooth Criminal". And their original m/v "Save or Live", "Utopia" and "White Night" (all stylistically very different again) are on a completely different level.

Hi~ Welcome to the world of FORESTELLA! For those who do not know about FORESTELLA, I'd love to tell you about this group briefly. They've met at a TV audition program called "Phantom Singer 2" which finds the best male cross-over quartet in South Korea in 2017 for the first time. These 4 guys were included(survived) in the final 12 singers among hundreds of applicants. And, the program PD divided those 12 amazing singers into 3 groups as the singers want. And, guess what? They (FORESTELLA = Forest + Stella(star)) won this contest!!!
When they sing on the stage, they normally set their positions like this. The first one from the left side is Ko Woo-Rim (bass, a grad-schooler in vocal music), the second one is Kang Hyeong-Ho (soprano, ex-research chemist), the third one is Cho Min-Kyu (tenor, M.A. degree in vocal music) and the fourth one is Bae Doo-Hoon (baritone, musical actor) There're many amazing songs they've covered. I wanna recommend "just a few" songs in the below. If you live in outside of S.Korea, some videos might not be seen, though. Stay safe and have a great one, everybody! 😆

FORESTELLA is a CROSSOVER vocal group. Their Corossover style, the more or less strong mixing of rock/pop/opera and their trademark: their unbelievable, inimitable harmonies. (In other songs, however, this is expressed more clearly). This and their individually unique voices and scills make them INCOMPARABLE and unbeatable.They cannot be assigned to any particular genre. They are very ambitious and constantly challenge themself. No song is in any way similar to a previous one. So they are constantly changing genres and styles and also languages. Update: If you type Go Woorim , then much more content shows up in searches online than if you spell it as Go Urim…his birth name is Ko (or Go) Woo Rim but in Forestella his stage name is Ko Woorim . …first name Woo and middle name Rim joined together. His registered name as a solo act is KOWOORIM …all one word. This is how it is on their merchandise and their credits on their albums etc… Hope this is helpful to those who might read this.
This song is by Puerto Rican Luis Fonsi who has been successful for several years. It started in the year 1998 and has released many hits. In January 2003, the video clip "despacito" performed by Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee led the ranking with 8 billion views on You Tube.
