Marian Jones yep, tablecloth. Set your machine to soak and add a bit of OxyClean, let it soak for a couple hours, then run it on delicates. Hang them up to dry. Once they are dry, delicate cycle in the dryer 10-15 minutes. Vintage linens are very collectible.
That crochet could be a coverlet or a tablecloth. I have a large tablecloth that my grandmother made for me. It’s hard to tell until you spread it out. There is a local wedding business in my town that purchases old crochet and linens for farmhouse themed weddings. There is a market for it. 👍 Keep saving the earth!
Attention Taco Stacks. The pink glass cake plate @13:29 is Federal Sharon Rose pattern depression glass. They go for $15-$20 on ebay. The lamp @ 3:01 looks like it has an antique reverse painted shade. Check and see if the shade or the lamp has been signed. It's worth checking if you see a similar one on ebay. Reproductions start at $100. If it says Moe Bridges, Pairpoint or Tiffany: you've hit the jackpot.
"Nice toss"...I said that out loud the same time you did..lol..Damn..Who throws away depression glass? Hell I would use it even if I found it broken...I would make sun catchers out of it...copper wire and some glass beads..just a way to give it a new life..Not hard to do and I love making things like that..
I've seen some beautiful ones, COPPER PENNIES glues to the entire surface, or those small colored glass thingies used in vases to hold flower stems upright.
I have been watching since the beginning and I’m sooo far behind and trying to watch all in order. Would love to see a video of you unpacking your van and what your process is for sorting and organizing your finds! Love all your vids!!!❤️❤️
Trellis was the word you looked for when talking about ivy growing up it Those coverlets were most likely hand crocheted, wash them by hand or on the gentle cycle of you washer. Don't bleach them though. I personally don't know how much they are worth but if I had the money I'd see about buying them from you. To the right people I think they are worth some money.
A nice hand-crocheted bedspread or tablecloth like you found would fetch $35 AND UP in the thrift stores around here. Of course, that wouldn't even cover the cost of the thread to make one today. Please try to resell it to someone who will love it. The pie plate looks like Shenango china, from the 1940s. I'd love to get my mitts on that entire box of treasures...
Love watching your garbage pick ups. My husband and I would go out and find all kinds of really good stuff. Was great fun to get good finds. Happy hunting.
You found some cool stuff. I can't believe someone threw away that tree. I have one and paid almost $100 for it. That lace thing you found is probably a table cloth, cleaned up I bet its beautiful!
I am a new viewer & I love love your videos, the ones where you go picking on the streets where people have put out their garbage. Please keep it up. So interesting!!!😀
If we lived in the US damned sure we'd be sending the laddie some frozen home cooked food so he got some nutrition. Cripes, how many of us are worrying or concerned over his diet???
Dyson Vacuums are definitely worth grabbing if you see one again! Even if they are beat up you can break it down and piece it out individually on eBay. Replacement parts go for around $20 per part depending on model! The pieces are usually super light and ship first class! ☺️☺️
It's such a shame that people don't want to give good usable stuff to charity stores, i find stuff all of the time, clean it & take it to the charity shop, just found an as new IKEA rug, looked it up it is £20 new, it'll be in the hospice shop tomorrow, i had to tip a big bin over to get to it, bit embarrassing but i'm sure they'll get £10 for the charity.
Del Bonner yes I do this too. I'm always picking stuff up, curbside shopping, what I can't use or give to friends, I donate to the Salvation Army stores. It's a shame people can't be bothered to drop them off themselves.
Ames in Seattle - a man.used to buy all pf the pretty bowling balls from out local thrift store to put in his garden. He showed me a picture, was surprisingly pretty and not tacky at all. I saw a craft project once where someone painted them for use ouside, faux polished stone paint, they looked lovely tucked in a bed of ivy and decorating the end of a garden path.
Rachel Ashwell coined the word Shabby Chic. The green table would be an example of Shabby Chic. Basically, a lot of stuff from flea markets, thrift stores, and yard sales are Shabby Chic.
Hey man I love your videos!! Just was wondering if you made a video on how to sell stuff at the scrap yard and how it works. I’m just starting out and I don’t want to get anyone annoyed when I go to the scrap yard and have no clue what I’m doing 😂
I have a friend that does this in a very rich neighborhood ... she said people come out of their homes to give her things they didn't want getting damaged out side ...
I LOVE the box of pink depression glass and vintage linens. I would have dropped the metal and did the happy dance all the way back to the car with that box!!
That pink Depression Glass Cake Plate is the Sharon Pattern. it is worth far more than a dollar. There are depression Glass reference books that give values.
Tacos u took the words right out of my mouth organizing is a must n u left alot of great stuff behide 🤔🤔🤔🤔😱🙈🙈 but u also got great stuff, keep living the dream peace ✌✌✌✌
Question, Why not take the vacuum motor? There is still lot's of copper in it even if not working. Could dismantle and recover the plastic/copper and some metal out off them.

Crochet tablecloth, perhaps. Priceless handmade items, a real treasure!
“I’m probably wrong as I’m often am” 😂
The pink depression is a cake plate. Love the old linens, guessing tablecloth.
Not sure if anyone else has commented on this but some food processors parts are worth a fair amount of money.
Those are crocheted table cloths. Should be worth something in good condition.

MrsLeeByungHun - I agree!

I picked up an 1899 Indian head penny from a cabinet with a drawer. It was a nice bonus on trash night. Check the drawers people!
I am a new viewer & I love love your videos, the ones where you go picking on the streets where people have put out their garbage. Please keep it up. So interesting!!!😀

crocheted over bed cover or a tablecloth
Just be sure you have vegetables on your pizza! Am I sounding like your mother now?
If we lived in the US damned sure we'd be sending the laddie some frozen home cooked food so he got some nutrition.
Cripes, how many of us are worrying or concerned over his diet???
Mackenzie River Pizza Co here in Washington state makes a pepperoni pizza with onions, zucchini and tomatoes. NOM NOM! One of my favorites!
That wooden thing is a garden trellis. Great not only for Ivy but you can even use them for bean plants.
Cool video.
I have one of the crochet covers on my bed I think they are beautiful but I would never put in a washing machine...Ty for the fun video.
Awesome finds!! We went out this morning. Found a lot of stuff.

Bless you for that!
It is upsetting what people throw away ... to lazy to take to a Thrift store
Why did you leave the bowling balls? I would think those would sell nicely.
Ames in Seattle - a man.used to buy all pf the pretty bowling balls from out local thrift store to put in his garden. He showed me a picture, was surprisingly pretty and not tacky at all. That's what I was wondering!

Rachel Ashwell coined the word Shabby Chic. The green table would be an example of Shabby Chic. Basically, a lot of stuff from flea markets, thrift stores, and yard sales are Shabby Chic.

I love that plate in the box. Awesome haul.
You can take the PC tower and take it straight to scrap, also the tower makes a good container for other strai pieces of metals, screws, etc.
Always love watching garbage picking vedios. Peace.
Retro furniture is in style. You could have a chair like that re-covered and clean up the metal part. It would be cool! :)

Who would throw away depression glass. I love that stuff. 🦋✌🏻
It's for a server/ buffet table the Linens the glass things was probably in China closet that's why it's pristine shape
Blinds @ 11:50 look to be aluminum. Top & bottom rails are steel. Cut the strings & all the alum will fall out.
That thing that wasn't a bird bath might have been a sundial but you'd have had to look at the circular part to see what was on the other side.
I LOVE the box of pink depression glass and vintage linens. I would have dropped the metal and did the happy dance all the way back to the car with that box!!
Love the videos 🌮!!!! 👍🏻❤️👍🏻❤️👍🏻
That pink Depression Glass Cake Plate is the Sharon Pattern. it is worth far more than a dollar. There are depression Glass reference books that give values.

I've often wondered if you pick where you sell ,have you ever had anyone come by the flea market and say " I threw one of those in the trash" haha
I would’ve grabbed that white wood doll bed. It’s from the50’s or 60’s.
Computers are great for ewaste, motherboards sell for around the same price in scrap as copper, really good scrap dude and not hard to take apart.
the suitcase handle you can extend and break off for aluminium.just saw it on another scrapper the other day
Hey Taco,I think is okay to just mix the computer tower with the litrons, that's what I do with the stereos, and other metal electronics.
I would of skipped the pizza and gotten some good ole greasy fair food Great content as always!
Put the plate back in the box so. It doesn’t break. 😝
