- Hello guys, and happy Sunday! i'm here, with new jewelry making tool chat, good for beginners and advanced silversmiths. It's all about soldering blocks/base I'm using in my silversmithing work, when I solder my jewelry pieces. Honeycomb, charcoal block and wire mesh - my essentials for soldering, which I use every day.

Thank you so much 🙏 and welcome to the gang 😅
I love my honeycomb blocks too. I use the steel soldering pins with it to help hold some things in place. They fit perfectly into the small holes. I tried the ceramic pins but they break far too easily. lol.. Thanks so much for the tips!

🙌🙌
what kind of stones do you have in the pan? I'm putting together my first soldering station and that's what I want, just not sure if it matters what type of stones you put in. Thanks for your videos, always pleasure to watch!
Hi! Thank you 🙏 and that sounds very exciting, good luck on that!! And my rotary pan is filed with pumice stones 😊 and yes it matters what kind of stones goes into it, because you are heating your soldering blocks on it.
Your Awesome, Thank you!
Do I need that Solder round turning dish with stones? If so why is it good?
Thanks, Michelle from Michigan USA 🩷
Thank you! I will talk more about that rotary pan on next video probably 😊
Cool! Thanks...
Love Love your linked Jewelry!
I will have to try and make some. Will look back on gauge wire you use mostly for that. Appreciate everything...Nice to see your different processes of jewelry making.
Would love to build a website from all my designs, have to look into that.
Xo Thanks, Michelle

How about soldering very thin wires🧐 especially chains🤔
Hi! I’m talking about that more in my “third hand” video. But I will talk about chain making more in upcoming videos 😊
Why is tripad so hight?
Because you can use it on its own and heat has to be lifted more from the table 🙂
@@kristinabobin i thought so too,but you can use something protectiv.Hight tripad is a little bit uncomportable for me. 🙂😍😍
نتي زوينة وبارع جيدا 😘🌹🥰😍😘
