not allowed, The USA banned all seal products a long time ago. My uncle sent up some bottled seal to his sister in Boston, and border officers took it.
They rarely sink in winter because they’re fatter, the blubber makes them float, in the summer time they’re much skinnier so they’re more likely to sink.
Good job, thanks for a beautiful video! Seal hunting is an amazing tradition and it is good that young men like you keep it on. It must be very had to shoot accurately from the boat! I hope you don´t get many hates from greens, who know nothing about your culture or animal protection itself! Btw you wear a nice fur hat - is it from seal fur too? Or do you wear anything of seal fur or skin? I think it must be super warm and super comfortable...
Thank you I appreciate you watching! I personally don’t have seal skin clothing yet, but I would love to have some, because I know they’re way warmer than “normal” clothes.
@@dannynielsen2 I think the same! It is a shame you dont wear it yet🙂! Why? Is it so expensive even for you Inuits? And what fur is your hat made of? Fox, rabbit...?
@@lukasbejcek8841 not sure what my hat is made out of, I bought it from the marine store🤣 and yes animal skin clothes are expensive, most people that have them are probably made from their grandparents or so.
@@dannynielsen2 Yes, I know. I wear jacket with a real fox fur trim, so I know it is pretty expensive 😃 But I love this material, much better than synthetics (although I dont need it for warmth here - it is rather for fashion, in fact 😁). But I though you must have worn seal fur, especially when you hunt seals! So, you hunt them mainly for meat, yeah? Dont you have an opportunity to have something done by your family or neighbors? Doesnt the young generation wear fur much anymore?
Shhhaaaadaaap fool. Keep buying your dead animal parts from your neighborhood grocer. Isn't it convenient how the plastic wrapper keeps the blood off your hands?
Dont the hunters use clubs anymore? I wanted to see a few get clubbed. They have long clubs with spikes in them and it takes talent to kill the seal with one quick blow to the noggin!
@@richardfarley7956 it’s actually the most humane way to kill seal pups, because there’s skulls haven’t fully closed yet and so the quickest way to kill them is to crack them on the skull. Also it’s quite ethical, about 80% of seal pups die due to predation from polar bears, arctic wolves, starvation, freezing, and abandonment, and by harvesting a quoted percentage of seal pups you actually increase the survival percentage of the baby seals left behind. There is no reason to restrict the baby seal harvest in America.

Good stuff. Renewable resource. I’m all for it.
Wonder if I could get a boat like that here in Alaska or the US? Seems like a perfect boat for hunting seals and walrus!
Great shooting with the old iron sights but much easier with some telescopic ones also they can work as a binocular for you to find ur kill.
Not easy shooting from the boat. 👍
Bro just found your channel! Amazing stuff!
I own a butcher shop in Connecticut and I would love to try seal sometime!!!

I think he might hv scared them all away😂,probably shot a few people on shore as well?😂
I was having a bad aim day lol, we would know if people are on the shores.
Doesn't the hunter shoot in the air? How do you hit a seal in the water?
Hi, these seal don't sink after you shoot at them? How do you retrieve them, is there a technique, or do some of them just float?

@@dannynielsen2 Thank you for your answer. It seems the ringed seal of the Baltic Sea usually sink, so i was confused.
That Suzuki will bring you home.

What is the brand of that plastic looking box in the bow of your boat? What is it’s primary purpose? Thanks.
The brand is called “sæplast” they make them in Iceland and the primary purpose of them are to contain fish in them, mainly for halibut.
You should get a cooper rifle in 22-250 and put a quality 32 power scope on it, also use some kind of rest
Wow,, thats cool af, what gun you using? 223 or 308
.222
Wow nice
Is it just me or I haven't seen any hunt (apart a dead seal on the shore at the end of the video)?
It's not easy to shoot drive a boat and film all at the same time.

friend amazing your content
Thank you
Didn't know that people hunt seals with rifles 😮
That’s the reddest blood I’ve ever seen.
I guess that I would starve out there because I couldn't see damn thing that he was shooting at in this video.
Iron sight!
wish you could hunt them and sea lions in california we have an over population
Run me them checks, I’ll be in your waters!😉😂
no orcas or polar bear ?
Orcas are very rare in Nuuk, Greenland so are polar bears. They are more common in East and South Greenland.
You need a 12g with buckshot
Good job brother from animal rescue from indonesia
Thank you
Get a scope!
Why is it look like you're aiming p so darn high
Camera angle
Looks like fun, get a little buddy propane heater.
Beautiful place and great hunting.
I want to come with you, please.
Shooting from a moving boat like a boss. Wow, good shooting!
Lol
looks like you've just about wiped them out.
Only about 9 million more to go
Beautiful day on the water, nice hunting

@@atlanticoutlaw once they’re done there then come to western Canada and start.
why hunting
Providing food for the family
Kind of easy kills I don't get the interest in it.
I’m not doing this just for sport.
The only person who aims for the sky, but doesn't aim for a seal😢. FAKE
I was aiming for the birds
That’s not hunting, it’s irresponsible and dumb. No skill needed either.
Well you need to know how to boat. Shoot well. Find prey. There's actually quite of bit of skill involved.
Be the seal trash. You ll be easy target too
Its food for the family,,, u doo know how far north he is right?
It's all skill..drive and shoot a gun on a moving boat w/cold temp..maybe on empty stomach too..MAJOR SKILLS
Worse than these guys in WWll 🤮
Small caliber to the head will stay afloat for a bit
