FACTS
Persona in general has one of the best OSTs for a franchise. P3 slaps so hard
This one and the Alan Wake soundtrack are on my writing playlist whenever I'm inspired to write original stuff or DND campaign notes. I'll use music from a series if it's for a fic but those are my only ones I just use for anything.

Coming back to the meaning of all the games it kinda goes into phases of life. (Counting persona 1&2)
1: learning to trust people and open your world to actually accept the identity you are given
2: learning to accept the bad things in your life but being able to forgive yourself and change the way you live life and work.
3: you experienced death and many tragedies and it just gets you down. But you must realize that the world goes on with or without you and you make your memories last. Time is precious and you use it to your fullest. That’s what you are here for.
4: you are so confused about the world and it’s seemingly endless information. Ruled also by emotions and ruled by the changing tide of right and wrong, you see through the half truth and lies to see what you really believe in
5: it’s finally time to break off the shackles of life that held you back. You needn’t worry about death and sadness but now must confront those who aren’t willing to support the just ideals you hope to strive for. So you take the stage and give people more choices and the ability to challenge unjust authority.

I think that Adachi would fail to recognize the first half of the verse; he sees everyone as selfish and isolated like him, neglecting to become a part of the "maze of relationships" of Inaba.
Then again, that verse and Adachi are among my favorite quotes and characters, respectively, so I am a bit biased.

Sometimes its good to hear engrish like this so you can question what they're actually saying. Like in Studio Backroom I thought "Feeling" was "Villain". I know that's not how it's supposed to work but its a different way than someone tryharding and getting syllables slowed down to molasses.

Probably the best Persona intro song (for me personally anyway, I do like Wake up, Get up, Get out there, Burn My Dread Shadow world, Soul Phrase, and others, but I think Pursuing My True Self is my favorite, it is what got into Persona and SMT as a whole)

Is the engrish supposed to be so hard to understand. I mean I love Shigeru's music. He is my favorite Japanese music artist. I would want his music in my world.

I'm usually good at understanding engrish but I do struggle with the Persona songs at times.
I think part of the problem is that the cadence of the words along with the emphasis on certain syllables can be really weird. Your Affection is a prime example of this.
Your Affection's lyrics themselves are reasonable enough when you see them written down. Then you listen to the words "withered flowers forget what they wept for day after day" sung as "with-er-ed frowers forge-et what they wept (pause) for day after dayyayyayyayy" it just doesn't quite register right. I think the intent here was to have flowing melodies that sound cool and different rather than really nail the English pronunciation. Mission accomplished.
It doesn't matter though, it's still awesome.
When it comes to rapping though they speak better English than I can sometimes.
